I personally think that teamwork and communication are very important during CA1, CA2 and CA3. We need to cooperate well, discuss amiably with one another to find a suitable solution for some of the challenges or obstacles faced in the process of accomplishing the task assigned to us by our teacher. One such example would be the games for our CA1, the aim of our first game was to score a ball into the bins which are of different colors and entitled us to different score. Our initial plan was to score the ball into the bins which will enable us to attain a higher score. When it was my turn to toss the balls into the bin, I was feeling really anxious at that moment. I wanted to successfully toss the ball into the bin which will entitle us a better score so that my group and I will get better grades for our CA1. However, after throwing one out of the three balls, I realized it was harder than expected. The only obstacles that we faced were probably due to the rules of the game that we had to toss the ball with our backs facing the bins. As a result, none of my group members successfull...
Throughout humankind, communication has been used from sending firer signals to the pony express; communication is a very important part of our world today. Team Leader and member should always know their audience. Managers have all the tools necessaries to get their message across from meeting, email, office bulletin board, using FedEx. No matter how they chose to get the message across effective communication is important.
Teamwork and collaboration in the healthcare industry is an essential part of making sure that the patients we care for reach optimal outcomes. It is no longer a world where the nurse’s only job is to take orders from physicians. As nurses it is our responsibility to advocate for our patients and the best way for this to happen is through teamwork and collaboration with the patient, families and other professionals involved in their care. By forming clear and logical objectives and understanding the roles and tasks of each member of the team, we work towards the best possible outcomes for our patients.
According to Dyer & Dyer (2013) research, to improve the team performance it is important to consider the four “C”s. It is essential that team and its member understand the meaning of the four C’s in order to have a high performing team. The four “C”s are (1) The context of the team, (2) The composition of the team, (3) The competencies of the team, and (4) The change management skills for the team.

There are many different benefits to having diverse dynamics within a team. Communication seems to be the key to making the dynamics of a team work. A team is very much an interpersonal relationship with many potential benefits as well as pitfalls. The dynamics can often cause conflict within that team which can negatively affect the team's performance. It is common for people on a team to try to ignore or bury problems due to a desire to not create a scene. This can be very destructive because the issues do not get resolved. There are some specific steps that can be taken to resolve that conflict. When it comes to resolving an issue, the methods of doing so can be as dynamic as the team itself.
From the beginning, where we were unfamiliar with each other and became a team, my team and I had started to learn each other name and getting to know each other. Throughout each meeting, we slowly start to feel more comfortable and open minded with each other. Not only are we getting familiar with each other, each meeting that was held we progress of becoming an effective team member, we learn our strengths and weaknesses of everyone. During the meetings, we learn many concepts from the textbook, “Communicating in Small Groups: Principles and Practices” by Steven A. Beebe and John T. Masterson. We were able to learn different types of concept in the textbook and utilized it as a team to complete certain tasks. The three concepts that impacted my team and I are human
People today are not taught to be innovative. They are taught to fit a certain standard and not think “outside the box.” This is a big issue in the workplace. If employees are not told what to do, they become hesitant because there are no directions. Since this happens so often they do not have the ability to be creative. To solve this problem, employers should offer their employees the best kind of environment that will allow them to experiment and effectively develop their visions. Collaboration is when a group of people works together through sharing ideas and is looking to accomplish a common goal. Linda Hill said, “Innovation is a journey. It is a type of collaborative solving among people with different points of views.” Putting heads together will expose multiple abilities and viewpoints to clarify any complications. Collaboration is a relevant cause for working together. In the long run, it should benefit the whole association.
Skills and knowledge possessed by every member is also important for a team to become high performance. Although it is among the most important factors, however, it must be coupled with a good working relationship with every team member and good collaboration with every team member. The members who possess the good skills and wide knowledge will be a useful resource to the team if that team member can share their strengths with the other team members and vice versa. It is usually misconstrued that having skillful and intelligent team members is already enough to make a team work right. This kind of thinking is the reason why most teams, despite all of those competent members they have, fail to achieve their goals. A team should establish one common goal, not to think that way and develop a good working relationship with each member. (retrieved from: http://www.strictlysuccess.com, August 18, 2005) This can be done by self awareness exercises, like the DISC assessment and other assessments or any other kind of self awareness exercises regarding communication style differences. Then these factors and important pieces of information should be taken into full consideration before the actual project is begun. These exercise or assessments can be great ice breakers and mark the difference between a group of individuals merely assigned to a team, as opposed to functioning as...
Teamwork is one of the important component that is required in any types of business organization . In a teamwork strength of different people are combined for the benefit of entire team and to produce better product and teamwork also help in building the unity among the group member .In a teamwork relationship play an important role because it helps people to communicate properly with one another whereas friendship helps in creating a job satisfaction. Support system is also important because if support system will be stronger than people will be comfortably depend on each other. These are the advantage of the teamwork but in teamwork there are also disadvantage like in teamwork there is an uneven participation of the members because they depend on other for doing the majority of work this can lead to hatred in the workplace. In a teamwork everyone is not team player, as they cannot perform well while team is working because they want to do their own so they might face problems to get fitted in a certain work culture, which will result in displeasure. In teamwork there is less creativity among th...

The work community has several members, it is vital that these individuals act as a group, so that the common goal was achieved. We observed the occurrence of synergy as we worked together with a significant deal of cooperation between members of the team. Previously, none of us were found to be dominant in our specific divisions and there are many groups in the presentation with exceptional skills to succeed. But, coming together in this group, we are able to succeed from other groups in presentation while demonstrating the significant synergetic group work. We were not able to win on individual level but our contribution to the group has combined to influence our performance positively and letting us achieve our goal of winning maximum marks. It is important for us to note that we would not be able to gain success in this presentation on individual basis but contributions from each of us combined to let us achieve our goal of gaining maximum marks in this task. We met every two weeks whenever we had our employment classes and these meetings were productive. These meetings went well but they could have been more productive if we had structured a proper schedule for maximising our meeting time. While considering the potentials of our group, our coach informed us that our group can only win if we want to and this caused a positive reaction with the confidence. None of us had any issues of ego and self-centeredness but instead we all wanted our group to perform outstanding. We consistently possess
