The life of Daniel and his three friends provided God’s people important lessons to live by: First, faith is to believe and obey God unconditionally in all situations. Life is filled with spiritual challenges to prove and grow one’s faith. Essentially, Christians should choose not to defile themselves with the things of the world. Second, the test of faith often focus on resisting the world’s influence. Christians should not conform themselves to the pattern of this world, refused to disobey God. (Romans 12:2)Third, our tests of faith will ultimately determine whether we will receive eternal life. What and how Christians do with God’s wisdom reveals and determines their spiritual destiny, whether they will live forever with Christ and God the …show more content…
It helps to enrich people’s understanding of God’s love and justice, righteousness and sin, life and death, blessing and curse, forgiveness and salvation in Jesus and much more. Convincingly, God revealed Himself (His wisdom, power, and authority) into two main channels: First, the Bible, which is known as the infallible word of God; Second, the Nature, which is the powerful revelation of the existence of God and His sovereignty. On the other hand, “Worldly education deals with the study of the physical and materials things surrounding humanity. It helps to develop their knowledge and understanding of the world, its causes, functions, and uses in association with their living to prosper their existence on earth. Highlighting the importance of these two educations, the “Spiritual education” delves primarily into the truth and the authority of God over humanity; while the “Worldly education” delves into the truth of humanity through a series of discoveries. Evidently, the wisdom that Spiritual education provides is more superior compared to the Worldly education because they are of eternal value and consequence. Unlike Worldly education, its truth is limited to human’s intelligence and temporary. Therefore, Christian educators are responsible for teaching Spiritual education on top of Worldly education. Under the influence of the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, God fearing educators are equipped to powerfully detail the relevance between Spiritual and Worldly education—God created all things for His glory and
Christianity falls under the category of Theism, which is the belief in only one personal god. Christian worldview believes that God sent humanity His only son so that we can learn about God and how He wants us to act. Jesus is crucified later in His life on a cross, which relieved us from losing a relationship with God due to our sins. When analyzing the Christian worldview, we learn that God came to earth in human form as Jesus Christ to experience life with humanity and restore earth back to harmony. In this paper I will discuss God, Jesus, and humanity individually, how restoration will occur, and finally, analyze and reflect on the Christian worldview.
The goal of this book review on Engaging God’s World written by Cornelius Plantinga Jr. is to examine his ideas on redemption, vocation in the Kingdom of God, and to explore his thoughts on Christian education as described in the book’s epilogue. Cornelius Plantinga Jr. discusses several key notes regarding redemption, such as salvation. Vocation in the Kingdom of God is another subject he touches on in relation to the way God works within His Kingdom connecting us to the ‘King of Kings’ as his ambassadors on earth. Lastly, Plantinga explains his view on how Christian education is important to sustain ourselves, earth now, and the New Earth.
The foundation of a Christian worldview is the belief in a personal God, creator and ruler of the universe. The Christian worldview views the world through God’s word, providing the framework for humanity to live by giving meaning and purpose to life. It defines who Jesus is, human nature, and how salvation is achieved. In essence it is the basis of which Christians behave, interact, interpret life and comprehend reality. A Christian worldview imparts confidence, answers to life’s problems, and hope for the future. In this paper I will discuss the essentials of a Christian worldview and an analysis of the influences, benefits, and difficulties sustaining the Christian faith.

“As a Christian learning community, we honor God by the way we work together at our calling. We rejoice in discovering the character and glory of our Creator as we explore His creation. As people who bear God’s image, we pursue the truth of His revelation. That revelation comes to us in the person of Christ, the wonder and beauty of creation, and the Spirit-directed words of the Bible” (Bethel University, Philosophy of Education)
The messages in The Book of Daniel are very relevant in today’s society and can teach people in today’s society to be faithful and to know god no matter what. Even if the times are different the lessons, morals, and situations are similar to todays. People need to learn to be faithful to your beliefs no matter what, be it if they believe in god or Allah or the Sun God Oomba, they should never be ashamed. God is trustworthy and does everything for a reason and leads people to where they are supposed to be in life even if they have bad luck or be in a bad situation it’ll get better. Also Gods ability to save his children in the face of danger and will give them justice, life may not be fair all the time but there is someone looking out for them and that god gives messages in mysterious
The Christian worldview is centered on the Gospel and places their beliefs in the essential teachings of the Trinity, the deity of Jesus Christ, and Jesus’ resurrection from the dead (DiVincenzo, 2015). This paper will explain who God is and what he created, what our purpose and nature is as humans, who Jesus was and what he did while on earth, how God plans to bring his people back into the right relationship with himself, and as a Christian how one is to live their life with an analysis of the Christian worldview.
There are several aspects to consider when exploring the Christian worldview. There are many facets or denominations and they each have their own distinct beliefs and practices, but they all share the same fundamental beliefs. In this Paper we will explore the character of God, His creation, humanity and its nature, Jesus’ significance to the world, and the restoration of humanity, as well as my beliefs and the way that I interact with Christianity and my personal worldview.
In conclusion, teachers who share their worldview with their students and encourage them to also expand and develop their own biblical worldview are giving their students a whole integrated education. The hope of a teacher should be that what their students learn will carry them through life by always seeing everything through the lens of God’s
...el had faith and God delivered him from his circumstance. This has taught me that He will help deliver me from my hard circumstances if I just have faith in Him. The next thing I learned was that I need to stand up for my faith. Daniel was not ashamed to pray to God even though he knew the consequences. I should not be afraid of what the consequences are because persecution comes with being a Christian. I need to stand up for God. The final thing I learned was to not be of the world. King Nebuchadnezzar wanted Daniel to worship an image of gold. Daniel refused because the only person or thing you should worship is God. I should not worship things of the world like King Nebuchadnezzar but rather worship God like Daniel did. Daniel is a good person to model regarding your trust and faith in God and also standing up for your Savior and not being of the world.
You can not put a value on a Christian education because it creates a setting of respect for God, His Word and His authority. It gives students a foundation of discipline, morality and a proper work ethic that can also be applied in other areas of life. Christians were actually the first to advocate universal education. The term university confirms this as it breaks down to “uni veritas” which literally means “one truth”. It was Christians in Europe who launched the first universities in France and the United Kingdom. It is ironic that so many scholars today are so hostile towards Christianity. Perhaps they do not know about the Christian roots of universal education for all classes and both genders or about the contribution of Christianity toward worldwide literacy, and higher education.

First and foremost, I will always be focused on the fact that it is my responsibility as a teacher to “cause my students to learn”. I cannot teach my students content unless I have prayed and asked God for illumination and for an “appliers heart”. It is important that I understand the content and application before I teach this to my students which should result in a life change for them. Application is the main reason for God’s revelation and it is my responsibility to share this with my students. My ultimate goal is to illustrate how scripture can be used in daily
Christianity is an identity used by people who believe in Christ and worship Christ. Christians around the world have different ways of praising and worship God. A world class Christian refers to the involvement of individuals in spiritual programs. Nelson (1894) emphasizes what Moses wrote, ‘In the beginning God create the heaven and the earth’ (Genesis 1:1). He created man in his image and give the entire good attitude and the ability to survive in this world. He offers us different types of emotional feeling so that man can apply in this moment of life. He gives every single man an assignment to work and that assignment is your passport to eternity. This can be in the form of how you support your Christian church members, how you participate in spiritual activities and also your personal relationship with the Heavenly Father. In this essay the focus will be on how to become a world class Christian. It will also elaborate ways in which an individual can become a successful world class Christian.
“Just as a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life.” According to Buddha, everyone needs some form of spirituality to define his or her life and existence. Webster Dictionary defines spiritualism as “a system of beliefs or religious practices based on supposed communication with the spirits of the dead, often times through mediums.” Though this is one general definition of spiritualism, this concept is one that does not hold a conclusive meaning. Each and every single person has the ability and right to create and practice their own idea of spiritualism. From ancient times to present day, the term and practice of spirituality has transformed, particularly from region to region. Despite the discrepancies in practices and overall understanding of this idea, spirituality has had an effect and impact upon all of humanity since the creation of time. This religion that is believed to have been established in the early eighteen hundreds, after two little girls claimed to have the ability to talk to spirits, sparked interest in this spiritual movement, allowing it to spread rather rapidly over many geographical locations. Aside from being recognized as a religion, spiritualism is also believed to be a form of philosophy and a science in which spiritualists believe that there is life after death and try to demonstrate this through the ability of attempting to communicate with those that have passed on. Spiritualism was socially different from other religions in existence at the time because it presented followers with a more tolerant belief system that assimilated the principles and facts from a selection the world's religions. Spiritualism also made it acceptable for women to play a disti...
