Yes, the world will remember Bill Gates not because he was the richest man in the world for 14 years straight (Thorpe), but because of all his efforts overseas and how he encourages other wealthy people to share their money with the less fortunate. Also by having proper nutrition, the country can focus on health problems like malaria and even tuberculosis. He realizes that it is important that the people of these countries learn how to also be aware of diseases like Ebola and AIDS. In these countries, illnesses like those thrive due to the close environment the people live in and the lack of sanitation of human waste. This also means that the development of fresh drinking water and a sewage system needs to be designed and implied. That is why Bill Gates’ foundation helps pay for groups like doctors without boarders to go over there and test and treat people that may be sick.
Bill Gates also knows that the development of energy innovations are not only important, but are needed if we expect to keep the earth viable.
