The free enterprise system has aided us as Americans and what we stand for throughout our entire American history. As citizens, we inherit many endless rights and freedoms. We hold these privileges dear to each one of us and that is what shapes this country. One of the most prodigious privileges is the free enterprise system. The free enterprise system is seen as an essential to a market economy. It’s an economic system where every single individual has the opportunity to participate in economic activities and own property of their own benefit and choice. Citizens of the U.S have the freedom and right to choose what kind of business they want to own or collaborate with. In this country, the important decision of what kind of enterprise you show interest in is yours and only yours to make. Another great facet is that the system gives the right of private property. Private property in generally thought to be only land or real estate, nonetheless it is much more than just that. Private property is all the personal possessions an individual owns. In the free enterprise system, citizens and individual people own their own property without interference of the government. Having property is having wealth and wealth means power to the individual. With owning private property come property rights which are ones such as determining how the property is managed or used, whether they choose to sell, and the right to enjoy the benefits and income the property brings. Furthermore this system promotes economic growth, too. Without fear of excessive government influence and heavy taxation, entrepreneurs have the chance to start their own business Any dedicated man with goals and enough determination can achieve this dream of having a personal business. We would not appreciate it if someone of authority directed to what kind of job we had to have or limit our opportunities to own businesses. Resulting in a limit of what type of products we could buy and at what price. Because of the free enterprise system, we are free to purchase items to our own desires and at the prices we choose. As businesses expand and begin to earn larger profits, the employees are better paid. This bigger income helps the certain individual to able to spend their money and live comfortably.
