Renaissance Man: Steve Jobs A man who quit college, got fired once, was adopted, came out to invent one of the best movies and has the best inventions. As Steve Jobs said,”Being the richest doesn’t matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful, that’s what matters to me.” This is Steve Jobs in some words. Starting out abandoned from your parents wasn’t such a good start for him. His biological parents wanted to get him adopted by parents that finished college and had a degree, but there were only two parents available. Job’s parents weren’t willing their kid to live with people with low education, so the new parents faked that they finished college. That’s how Steve Job’s started his life. When he had the choice We can say it was THE best invention. Before, when we didn’t have something called an iPhone, we had to go home, turn the tv on, and watch the news or the tv show you wanted. Now, anyplace and any time you, you could watch your favorite tv show, you were able to be alert of the news, and you could check your favorite teams score right at the moment. This meant LIVE.With this phone everything seemed to be LIVE because you could get everything right at the moment it was happening. When you go on an airplane, 11 hours of traveling, you would get very tired and exhausted. Probably, you would get your nintendo out, then if you wanted to watch a movie you had to put it back. If you want to read a book, you would have to get it out and put it back again. There would be a big probability of losing your stuff. Why all these things if you can now just get out one device and do every one of these? As Jobs said,”An ipod, a phone, an internet mobile communicator… these are NOT three separate devices! And we are calling it iPhone! Today apple is going to reinvent the phone. And here it He wants mac, she wants mac, everyone wants mac. What is so special about it? What Steve Jobs changed was people’s thinking. Everyone thought that every computer can function the same or at least similarly. But NO! It was an amusement that in literally one millisecond, you could have your computer opened already doing your work. To be honest, mac has many disadvantages. You have to pay for apps, games don’t function as well as other computers, but what mac means to me is making all the disadvantageous, to an advantage. It was so simple for Jobs. If you wanted to play games in your computer, he would just respond, well get another one that is not mac. Mac itself made it special and wanting for everyone. The reason was because iPhone had already grabbed people’s mind. With the mac, you could make your iPhone function better. It made it so comfortable for people that had apple phones because you could call, message, facetime, and download music. A reason it made all human beings amused was because the hd screen it had. When you put a video in your mac, you could see everything as hd as if you were there in the video. This made it more wanting for “Skypers” (people who use skype) because it had a better screen, and it looked as if you were prettier. At the beginning max computers weren’t so willing, but when the macbook air came out, it changed the world. How could a computer be so thin? It functioned the same as other computers, but the design
A Captain of Industry can be defined as an honest business leader who affects others and their community in positive ways through creating jobs, donating money and making their products accessible to many. A Robber Baron on the other hand acquires their wealth through unethical and dishonest ways by exploiting resources and labor. We can all inarguably agree that entrepreneurs like Andrew Carnegie and Steve jobs have made massive impacts within their business professions. From Carnegie working in a factory at age 13 for $1.20 a week to becoming one the wealthiest businessmen in America during the 1800s. Andrew Carnegie is a true testimony to what hard work can achieve. To a more modern man who shares a similar story of success as Carnegie is Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs, a man who wasn't too fond of formal education and often found himself is troubling situations with others soon achieved accomplishments that would change the way we see/use technology today. Yet the question we are left to ask
Steve Jobs and his friend Wozniak started to create their very first computer, and it came out a lot better than what they thought it was going to be. With very little education, the first computer that came out was extraordinary. “It was the first single-board computer with built-in circuitry allowing for direct video interface, along with a central ROM, which allowed it to load programs from an external source” (“Steve P. Jobs”). Without the education that most people get, for someone who dropped out of college, Jobs created such a powerful computer without the knowledge that most people have. Jobs computer that he created along with his friend was so astonishing a second computer came out. “A year later, the Apple II was launched with a simple, compact design like the Apple I, plus a color monitor” (“Steve Paul Jobs”). The first computer that Jobs created was excellent enough to create a second one, which was also a superior computer. Even though Jobs dropped out of college, he was still intelligent enough to create one of the biggest companies in the world. Apple incorporations was going strong until one day the company decided to let Steve Jobs go,...

All might think that a PC is awesome, but is not called Windows for nothing. When they say Windows they mean Windows. Macintosh has been known for it’s simplicity. Windows users say Mac has no games. I say to them there are games, but if you want to “play games” get a game system. Macs give a new vision in the computer industry.

Technology has evolved over the years. It was first the pager that was a crucial device, then the PDA and lastly the Smartphone. The core product is the main idea of why a phone or Blackberry will be bought and its technology, connectivity and mere ownership of the device gives the owner the feeling of superiority. People cannot fathom existing without their cell phones these days. The ability to connect in case of an emergency, tardiness, chatting with friends and other similar situations is an important point. Everyone wants to “keep up with the Joneses” by having the latest devices.
It was Steve Jobs who made Apple leave the garage and make leaps and bounds in the world of technology. Steve Wozniak made the first prototype, but it was Jobs who “saw the potential” in his computer and persuaded Wozniak to sell it (Peterson 106). Even though that first computer saw very little success, Jobs knew that Apple had potential and so released the Apple II. From the beginning Jobs knew what the consumers wanted, and where computers were going to take the world; he had a vision of the opportunities in technology and saw that Apple needed to move in a different direction. In 1984, one year before he left, Jobs finished the Macintosh computer system. He was pushed from his original computer design project, “the Lisa”, and then raced to release the Mac first, but the Lisa was released to the public first. Although the Lisa came out first, the Mac “[became] synonymous with Apple, mark[ing] a…revolution in…personal computing,” (Peterson 106).
