"Pitch Black" was an entertaining, sci-fi/horror mash up that boasted it’s R-rating as well as the newest addition “Riddick”. However, second installment “The Chronicles of Riddick” holds a place in PG-13 rating, which honestly it is meant to be there but also bit disappointing that it is. There are only 8 survivors, the pilot Carolyn Fry (becomes captain since ship's captain is killed), bounty hunter William J. Johns, religious man Abu Al-Walid, Antiques dealer Paris P. Ogilvie, runaway teenager Jack, settlers John 'Zeke' Ezekiel and his lover Sharon 'Shazza' Montgomery, and Richard B. Riddick (Vin Diesel). Marooned, the survivors discover the barren and hot desert-scape has sunlight from three suns. Not only must they find food and water and worry about Riddick, the survivors find themselves being hunted by the planet's flesh-eating alien inhabitants. According to the geological equipment abandoned on the planet, every 22 years the planet engulfs in darkness which releases the ravenous breed and they just happen to be there for it. Riddick becomes marooned on a planet he was lead to believe was Furya (his home world) which in fact was just a plot to kill him. At times, "Riddick" lines up so closely to the plot of "Pitch Black" that it’s almost the same movie. Yet again, people are trapped on a hostile planet and don't know if the bigger threat is the planet's inhabitants or the mass murderer “that called for a taxi”. However, this one is more realistic being that the inevitable danger doesn’t happen the day after they are marooned. There is more of a build to this sequence because Riddick lives there for a while as he travels around with a mutated version of man’s best friend. Although this planet is majorly bare, Riddick’s dog, a “dingo-dango thing", finds a golf ball which means there was life here once. Which just to say now the dog and almost all animals is this series are so cute and lovable around Riddick. When Riddick “calls for a taxi” by using a beacon two teams of bounty hunters come for him, one of which wants him taken alive and the other wants him dead. The team all for killing is led by Santana (Jordi Mollà). Santana's has a head sized see-through cryogenic box which he plans to use for Riddick. But really you shouldn’t be surprised when Riddick uses that box to make his point to everyone while stilled chained up. On the other had the team who wants Riddick alive is led by a “Big Daddy Johns”
To me this was a very great movie; Stanley Kubrick did a stupendous job producing Full Metal Jacket. When watching the very begging of the movie to the very end, the way Kubrick captured it all it seems that he captured the way marines had to overcome their superior during boot camp and finally overcome their fears over in Vietnam. To rate this movie as it depicted the hardships that marines have to endure and the life in Vietnam from a marine’s perspective would have to be an 8/10, definitely a thumbs up movie.
John Rambo and Jack Ryan are two amazing men. They are honest, trustworthy, heroic, never crack under pressure, and stand for truth, justice, and the American way. Sylvester Stallone and Harrison Ford do their best attempting to make the audience believe that men such as Rambo and Ryan actually exist. Try as they might, not even Stallone or Ford can convince me that men of this caliber actually live. Rambo is able to not only foil his corrupt, superior American officer trying to sabotage his mission, but eliminate an entire army of Vietnamese and Russian soldiers, and save a handful of POWs. Jack Ryan defies the entire government and the largest Colombian drug cartel because he stands for the “truth.” Sorry, but I am not buying it.
It is not a boys' club/film, the women's characters are fully fleshed-out and developed, and Alicia is captivating (I already loved her in "Ex Machina" if you haven't seen it, do give it a go). Elizabeth Debicki is breathtakingly beautiful and a wonderful badass villain.

I really enjoyed this film. I would highly recommend it to anyone who really enjoys a good revenge movie. This film will cover it all. I do plan on buying this film, framing it and putting it up on my wall. That’s how much I liked it. If you have not yet seen this film, you need to get up and go get a copy and set your DVD player to repeat.
The third and final prequel to George Lucas's Star Wars trilogy Revenge of the Sith is the midpoint of the Star Wars saga. It is the climax of the Star Wars prequels and leads magnificently and flawlessly into the completion of the original trilogy. The original trilogy led up to a happy ending complete with fireworks and scenes of different planets celebrating. The prequels tell a similar hero's journey, but instead of an affirming story about believing in oneself, it is a dire warning about the dangers of arrogance and greed. We are reminded of human valves fear, hatred, greed, pride and "a failure to listen" which lead to the Dark Side. Compassion, love, and non-violence are the real way to peace and justice. I believe this form of storytelling captures the audience which makes the story memorable to the fans and in my opinion this was a successful combination. The following paragraphs will approach the narrative, similarities by comparing the original trilogy with the new trilogy and analysing the key elements of mise en scene used in particular scenes in the film. By doing this, I will discover how the position, colour and framing expresses the message George Lucas wants the viewers to absorb and remember.
In Jim Jarmusch’s Dead Man, he pays homage to the classic style of western films while taking his own eccentric take that puts the film in a league of its own. With a combination of elements related to the western genre and a genre Jarmusch creates all on his own, the viewer can begin to explore and appreciate the unique film, Dead Man.

Out of a scale of 5(as being the best), I would give it a 4 and a half. The movie had a real good plot. It showed an American soldier leave his post and communicates with the Indians, which was very shunned upon. The American got very friendly with the Indians and also had a liking towards one of the females. While there relationship goit stronger they got married and when he went back to his post to get some things, he was caught by his troops, which thought he was an Indian. When they found out he was a soldier who became an Indian, they were going to try him of treason. While he was on his way back home, the Indians came and saved him from the white men.
...r, this movie is lack of depth of storyline. The audiences can even predict what will happen in the next scenes. Moreover, the ending of this movie is too cheesy and irrational according to me. If only they change the ending to become more interesting and rational, I will give a four or five stars out of five. In spite of a lame twist ending, this movie is a perfect example to show that managers should be able to motivate and challenge their employee. It is important to remember that a happy employee means a productive employee.
The film “Furious 7” by James Wan is a successful movie that gives off thrill, tears, and entertainment all at once. The film immediately starts off with lots of action and car stunts that look awesome, on top of that, the entertainment of the film is incredible that keeps you awake throughout the whole movie. Even though the movie is action-filled, the movie sets off a memorable goodbye tribute to Paul Walker who died on a car accident while half way through the movie.
J.R.R. Tolkien's concept of too much power is summed up by Lord Acton when he once said, "Power corrupts, but absolute power corrupts absolutely." In Tolkien's first book of his fantasy based trilogy, Lord of the Rings, the Fellowship of the Rings tells a story of a quest to destroy a powerful ring throughout Tolkien's created "Middle Earth". This quest was headed by a "Hobbit" named Frodo Baggins who, in the end, becomes corrupted by power himself. This corruption begins when Frodo uses his ring to become invisible over and over again to escape certain situations. The quest to destroy the powerful "Ruling Ring" forms the basis for this story.
In all, Sly has been through the ringer. His career has seen repeated hesitations and setbacks; his personal life also found tragedy and heartbreak but, Stallone could finally find solitude in his life as his family continued to prove as a small but powerful support system. Their fuel fed his fire to continue persevering and finding the “eye of the tiger.” Stallone inspires his fans by embracing his flaws and shining through the movies he has been involved in. The most rewarding honor will not be an Academy Award nor a Star on Hollywood Boulevard, but the loyalty and support of Stallone’s fans.
Also, theme is mature and younger audiences wouldn’t be able to grasp the ultimate goal of the author. As for my recommendations, I don’t have much to add, except for great job to the director and writer, the story flows smoothly the novel’s adaptation is true to the book’s descriptions. Lastly, a round of applause to the great cast that brought the characters to life, they truly made the film memorable to not only me but other audiences that have the pleasure of watching this
