The best model of motor vehicle is the Cadillac because it is characterized by advanced technological model enhancing the motor vehicle’s efficiency. This advanced technology makes the Cadillac a classic model of motor vehicle. The anti-locking brakes of this vehicle enable the wheels to co-ordinate well in order to give the vehicle stability. There is also a sensor that is installed at each wheel of the Cadillac. The work of this sensor is to gauge the pressure exerted by the brakes. This vehicle’s pressure is subject to the capability of the system to produce heat. The sensor and the anti-locking system serve to maintain wheel balancing.
Detroit asserts that the Cadillac engine system is responsible for cost reduction especially with regard to the Cadillac maintenance (73). This owes to the fact that the flexible logistics of installation and low consumption of fuel guarantee savings. This vehicle’s engine is efficient due to the fact that it is safe to drive at high and low speeds. The brake system of this vehicle does not require electromagnetic fields in order to function. The model in question is also fitted with emergency tools, which help in case of skidding. These tools include the braking cruise control. Cadillac’s brake system is light unlike other vehicles’ brake systems, and this enhances swiftness in driving the Cadillac. Additionally, this model does not have the shortcoming of fuel loss especially through drags. The Cadillac has Eigen solver system, which is responsible for squeal analysis. In this regard, the need for programming is eliminated. The thermoregulation ensures that the braking system’s heat is controlled. Furthermore, the thermoregulation amplifies the computation performance of squeal. The engine...

...uel used in the Cadillac never produces a drag, which can possibly waste fuel. This results in reduction of the cost needed for Cadillac maintenance. The hydrodynamic retarders are also appropriate for the Cadillac given that the latter is the preference of many people.
The Cadillac is the best of motor vehicles given its technological compliance. This is because it has braking pads, which reduce noise. The braking pads of the Cadillac reduce the irritating sound produced the brakes running. The thermoregulation system controls the temperatures of the vehicle. This curbs the brake stresses, which are witnessed in other vehicle models. In this regard, there are no sparks during the functioning of the system.

There was always a demand for trucks with the comfort of a passenger car, or a passenger car with the load capacity of a truck. In response to this demand Ford released the Ranchero in 1957. To compete with Ford’s Ranchero, Chevrolet created the El Camino whose first release occurred in 1959. Over the years, Chevy has made several modifications to the El Camino to improve performance and style. Since Chevy stopped producing the El Camino in 1987, it has become a collectible classic. This essay will focus on several of the engine and body modifications that were made between 1957 and 1987.
The corvette was first introduced in January 1953. To experiment with the car, they only made 300 cars, which were all made by hand and powered by a 235-cubic-inch 6-cylinder engine. The corvette was designed to show the world that General Motors could make a sports car that was a stylish two seater. All 1953 corvettes were polo white with red interiors. The engine of the car generated 150 horsepower and had a 2-speed power glide automatic transmission. Researchers have found that the first corvette has been known to go over 150 miles per hour.
As James Flink points out in The Automobile Age, the village store and the local banks were the businesses most vulnerable to the new competition (47). Robert E. Wood, former vice president of Sears, explains how businesses moved to the suburbs, "When the automobile reached the masses, it changed this condition [the funneling of consumers into the town centre] and made shopping mobile. In the great cities Sears located its stores well outside the main shopping districts, on cheap land, usually on arterial highways, with ample parking space (Wollen 13)." Thus city centers came to be seen as sites of congestion, whereas the surrounding areas were regarded as accessible and convenient. The rapid proliferation of shopping complexes outside of the city center in the 1950s left down town a crime-ridden wasteland of vacated stores. City centers no longer featured traditional shops; instead they contained gas stations, parking lots, and inns whose focus was on the travelers and their cars (Wollen 13).
The Automotive, or electric car industry particularly, comprises all those companies and activities involved in the manufacture of electric motor vehicles (EV), including most components, such as engines, bodies and rechargeable batteries or another energy storage device. The industry’s principal products are passenger automobiles. Despite the fact that the first electric cars were produced in 1880s , the advances in internal combustion engines, especially the electric starter, soon diminished the relative advantages of the electric car and became the dominant design in the market. Due to this the EV was almost a forgotten industry staying in the early stage of development, conforming to less than 1% of the automotive stock
New vehicles can use this data to improve emission control and improve the vehicle’s efficiency. The Engine Control Unit (ECU) of the vehicle can adjust the concentration of fuel injected in to the engine to improve the type of burn. The ECU can be used to mai...
The world of technology is ever changing and advancing. With the automotive industry in play technology is constantly surpassing what is available today with what can be done for tomorrow. Technology and the automotive industry go hand in hand with constant improvement to components of cars. Due to technology advancement there is competition within the car industry, especially between American car companies and European car companies. European car companies provide their buyers with innovative variety and revolutionary luxuries. European car technology is superior to American car technology due to their safety, entertainment, and luxury features.
The purpose of this experiment was to determine the relationship between the stopping distance and the initial velocity of the car before braking on different road conditions. In this experiment, a car is driven at different speeds on dry and wet road conditions. The braking distance is then measured, and the coefficient of friction is determined with the information recorded.
Nowadays, along with the development and increase of economical level, the automobile has become an essential and important transport. Also, it leads to another problem: traffic accident. Over the last century, there were more crashes in U.S than the number of the wars that Americans have been through. Therefore, people started to notice that they need the automobile safety to protect themselves. Over the last 100 years, the automobile safety has changed a lot to give out the best protection that we’re using today. Below are 3 major features: safety glass, air bag and seat belt.
To ensure stable handling, electric power steering works effectively with suspension system comprising MacPherson strut, coil spring in front and twist beam with coil spring in rear. With improved water wading capabilities the car is efficient enough in getting rid of flooded lanes and pit holes, the telescopic double acting hydraulic shock absorber helps in doing so. The discs brakes are further accompanied with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-Force Distribution System (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA) to provide effective braking in varied
The Braking system is an important aspect of the vehicle. Disc brake system comprises of disk placed between two pads. Hydraulic system helps these pads to come in contact with the disk to slow down the rotation of wheel and finally to stop the vehicle. The disk brakes are of two types a solid type and vented, vented disk have fins to allow air to pass in to it . The praper aims to study and analyzation of the parts disk and pad with changing parameters like material and area of contact of pad with disk. A vented disk brake is designed and results are studied. The CAD models are built in CATIA and a finite element model is built in HYPERMESH software. Analysis is done using RADIOSS software.

In the automobile industry, Crash Test[1] is an experiment conducted by car manufacturers to enhance safety for passengers. In such tests, an accelerometer, and a force sensor are usually used. These devices allow experimenters to collect relevant data, such as the acceleration of the car, the velocity upon impact, the time of impact, the forces applied on the vehicle and the dummy. The data collected from these tests will be used to improve the design of the vehicle, as well as the details on the airbag, which is a shock absorber installed in cars.
Hybrid vehicles first came on the seen to create super efficient cars to combat rising fuel costs and offer more environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional combustion vehicles. The hybrid vehicle concept is that there are two motors at work, one is traditionally a gasoline engine paired with a small battery powered electric motor. Each manufacturer’s hybrid power-train varies, but the main benefits gained from the addition of an electric motor and battery pack, is that the electric motor adds free power from the battery pack in the car to aid in acceleration and
