My favorite hobby to is study the Bible Do you know that the female image of God is testified in the Bible? The Bible is sacred books that tell us who the true almighty creator God is. The only religion that read the Bible the most are the Christians who called themselves disciples of Jesus Christ. The only way for us to know the true God is through the Bible. I feel so happy whenever I read the Bible. We cannot see God with our physical eyes, but by faith in Him. The Bible testified that there is God the Father and God the Mother. All though my whole life I didn’t know that we have our heavenly Mother just how we have heavenly Father until I came to the World Mission Society Church of God. For many years people have so many myths concerning …show more content…
The mystery of God is hidden through the Passover. The word Passover means disasters pass over. Through the Passover we are protected from all harmful pollutions such as earthquakes, hurricanes tornadoes etc. In the whole world it is only the World Mission Society Church of God celebrates the Passover as God commanded. Since I started attending this church I now understand the Bible better. Whenever I am not doing anything I study the Bible at my church and at home. I do not understand why others who calm to be God do not keep the Passover. Exodus 12:14 “This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD—a lasting ordinance”. On this Earth nobody lives forever. Mankinds are seeking for the way to live a long and health life. I have so much hope to live in heaven. In the Old Testament of the Bible the Israelites offered lamb to God as atonement for their sins. The physical lamb that the Israelites killed on the Passover night was copy and shadow of Jesus Christ death of the cross. In the New Testament Jesus Christ is the sacrificial lamb for our sins. Jesus Christ seal the Passover of the New Covenant with bread and wine. We can only go to the King of Heaven if we celebrate the Passover. All mankind on the earth are angels from heaven who are …show more content…
The Passover is the way God open for us to return back to our hometown heaven. The predictable population on this earth is about 7 billion people that God made. Only about 30 percentages now know the existence of God the Mother. I strongly agree that the female of God exist because I do see male and female on this earth. Family systems on this Earth contain a father and mother. Shouldn’t we also God have our spiritual parents? My heart is full with joy because I can receive eternal life from my eternal mother who is in heaven. Galatians 4:26 “But the Jerusalem that is above is free and she is our mother”. The reason while we have our physical mothers on earth is because we have our spiritual mother in heaven. Physical parents on this earth are copy and shadow of our spiritual parents in heaven. Do you want the duplicate of a 100 dollar bill or the reality? If not then keep the Passover that God commands and enter the Kingdom of
“one of God’s women, fashioned by His own hand to show us men and other women that there is a heaven where we can enter, and its light can be here on earth. So true, so sweet, so
In the Hebrew Bible, women are viewed as minor and inferior figures. Women are given a secondary place in society, nonetheless they play a crucial role and have a number of vital figures in the Biblical history.
In Women, Church, God: A Socio-Biblical Study, Caleb Rosado uses a socio-biblical approach to discuss the role of women in the church today and how they were treated in the Bible, during the patriarchal times. Rosado looks at the connection between what people believe now, their culture, and how they treat women in regards to how one perceives God. This book contains ten chapters in which several topics are discussed, including the nature of God, the treatment of women in the Bible, patrimonialism, servitude, and servanthood.
...e life that he is creating is undeniably male, as this is the sex he views as the stronger of the two, there is never a question for a moment that he may create a female.
They were women of God, and they were very important in the development of Gods image, and well as playing significant roles in Jesus’ life and mission. Women contributed to the movement, and the experienced belonging to his community just as much as the men. However, some may view the presence of women in the bible as a negative thing. Elizabeth Cady Scanton said that the bible can be used to exclude women from the public sphere. The Bible promotes marriage and childbirth as the most important things for a woman to do, as these things would make the woman stay home and create a better environment for her husband. The images of women in the bible, however, can help women connect to God more intimately and see themselves as an image of God. Women were included in the first followers of Jesus, and he treated them as equals.Women were seen as ministers, opened their home to the less fortunate, and even witnessed Jesus’ resurrection. Since it’s beginning, women had roles of power in Christianity. Women gave birth to the men of the Lord, but only if they were women of the
Some people believe that women were created for the sole purpose of assisting men. They justify their position by citing Genesis chapter two, in which God takes a rib from Adam and creates Eve. They believe that because Eve was made from a piece of Adam, she is directly under him, as if he were her creator. Another source of evidence for this claim is that Adam was created before Eve. The rationale behind this piece of evidence is that the human being that was created first has more importance and is therefore, greater than the second. This interpretation also relies on the fact that women are less physically capable than men. It is believed that because God made women less capable then she must be considered less than by her greater counterpart. Clearly, this is an irresponsible interpretation of the bible. Many passages of the bible state the equality of his creation. The Apostle Paul states in Galatians chapter three that all people under the lord are to be considered one entity and are equal throughout that entity. Any interpretation that suggests women are inferior can be easily refuted by this passage. Some argue that women are inferior because God calls Eve a “Helper” in the second chapter of Genesis, however God uses that same name, ‘ezer, to describe himself a number of times. Out of context it would seem that the bible makes women look less than, but in realit...
The first issue which feminist scholars face in whether they can be a faithful Christian or Jew is that the Bible states multiple times how women are subordinate to men. This can be seen in 1 Corinthians 11:7-9 where it is said that the man ‘is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man… neither was the man created for the woman but the woman for the man.’ This clearly states that women are inferior to men and belong to them similar to a po...
Individuals in modern society often treat symbols - religious, cultural and otherwise - as absolute, often ignoring or forgetting the representative aspect of them. When combined with the patriarchy dominating and influencing our society, this is where the primary problem with symbols starts. In feminist theology, religious symbols and their respective associations, pose a great problem not only to the advancement of women’s right, but to the struggle for the equal representation of their voice, and rightly so, their experience. The role of feminist theologians in the recovery of an authentic God-language can only be achieved if there is a significant change from the male dominated religious symbolisms.
Despite the patriarchal society from the biblical days, God is taught as being just as much a Mother as God is a Father (102). The willful ignorance of religious scholars of the time just show that they were making a conscious effort of trying to keep women from retaining any power that they had. This relegation of religious roles in an effort to keep Men in power is a poor example of how Christianity is a religion which promotes for the love and care of all people, no matter their status. The interpretation of God from these times clash severely with my notions of what is now considered to be an all-loving entity. Women of these times were obviously not equal to their male counterparts. In modern days however, women are thought of as equals in society. The problem is that they are still not being treated as equals in a religious aspect as well as many other aspects.
The first story in the bible, which is the creation of everything, is the main source of justification for the oppression in woman in the church. The passage tells the story that God created all animals, implying that He created male and female animals; however when creating humans, this was not the case. God created man in the image of God but did not create woman at the same time nor in the same way. God felt that man was alone and it is not suitable for him not to have a mate (Genesis 2:18), so God created women. God created man by taking clay from the earth and breathing life into him (Genesis 2:7), however when creating woman he took one of Adam’s ribs and formed it with flesh (Genesis 2:22). Adam then say...
The stories about women in the bible illustrate the importance of their role and contribution to society. Women were slaves, concubines, and child bearers; they were also wives, matriarchs, and prophets. Although, some women had less important titles than others each served a purpose. Even if the Bible does not explain God’s relationship with women as with Moses and other prophets, it illustrates the love and dedication women had for Him. The scriptures describe brave, nurturing, and God fearing women whose decisions impacted the existence of the Israelites.
With these interpretations of God’s words, society as a whole has held women back. This is caused by the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge and because Eve gave Adam the fruit, women have been held in responsibility for all of man’s mistakes. It also forced God to punish mankind with an ending life. This confirms why women have been discriminated on by men throughout time in religious scripture.
Judah, with the help of their religious leaders, rejected the words of Jesus Christ. They would not believe the truth about who God is. They believed they already knew God through their own interpretations of the Old Testament scriptures. Year after year, the Jewish people used animal sacrifice during Passover in order to thank God for how Moses led them out of Egypt. They did not understand that the Passover was something far greater than a deliverance out of a slavery in Egypt. The paradox is that the Jewish people rejected the Lamb whom God had sent to deliver man from sin, their Passover
...t on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:36-38). Loudly and clearly, God wants us to know that we are all equal; both man and woman. No one should have to suffer because of a gender that God had blessed him or her to be. From a personal religious perspective, because of my Christian background, it is important to me that everyone is treated equally. If man and woman were both created by God, why should there be a distinction between whom is better and who isn’t. Sadly, in many parts of the world, some societies have chosen instead to favour a specific gender (male) over the female because the boys are seen as breadwinners. There are many ways to make a change but to begin we all need to be aware and make awareness – spread knowledge to everyone around.
My opinion is that cooking is the best hobby to have, because it can be very useful in life. Cooking is my hobby and has been for several years. I was about five years old, when I started learning how to cook. Cooking is something that I inherited from my grandmother; my grandmother was a professional chef and owned her own restaurant, where I learned how to cook.
