Social media can be addicting, to most people. Social media affect some adults, but mostly young people. I agree that Social media can take over a person’s life. A couple authors explained why social media can be addicting. Twitter, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram and any other social media you can name is what people do during their daily lives. Do you think social media can be detached from someone who tends to be on their phone, laptop, or tablet daily?
Twitter: a website that allows people to follow one another and easily tweet out their thoughts/feelings on almost anything. A tweet describes a post to the website so that others can see what each person speaks. Each tweet limit to 140 characters so that the thoughts aren 't forced to be short. Snapchat: an app useful for taking a picture anywhere and connects to your story. Your friends can view whatever you post for 24 hours. Then, the picture disappears. You can save the picture before it disappears to the memory box and still have the picture if you want. Facebook: a social website, that …show more content…

That involves sorting out the line between person and persona, the public and private self (382). I agree with what she says. Social media can explain a persons personal life, but then a person can put on a persona of being a totally different person. Just to fit in the “perfect social media” account. A “perfect social media”; an account where someone’s tries to be someone else, so they could just fit in with certain people. She also says, “It’s too late for that, I’m already hooked anyway” (382). As I mentioned before social media can be addicting. It takes over your life. I 'm a person who stays on all social media sites.
