They can be a stalker or a person that wants to steal your identity; which could be done easily thanks to new developments of new technology. Also thanks to new technology it is now easier for people using your information to track you. Posting personal information can risk your family and friends lives. Social media can be used as a weapon against you. It can even lead to a kidnapping, or even someone's death. Many people use social media to help to waste time, but could also become an unhealthy addiction. Also social media can damage your future. When you are a teen you tend to post pretty much anything you want. This is dangerous because you can post too much personal information. Most importantly, I think that social media has a negative effect on people. It is more dangerous to people being on social media. Also examined teens’ sleep quality, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. The whole time spending on social media the examiner showed decreased sleep quality, lower self-esteem, increased anxiety, and depression levels. It shows that social media can also affect the health. Social media can be a serious danger to people’s well-being that can cause problems to them.
The first reason social media is bad is because, it causes teens to eat things they should not. Teens will eat anything for Youtube. All of these effects of social media would make the lives of children difficult. Since using social media is such an unhealthy activity, we all should reduce our time using it and spend more time in the real world. If we do so, we may have a brighter

Teens make lots of mistakes while spending so much time on social media, and the mistakes are then there for everyone to see
Take a minute and think about how much we use Social Media. How scary is it to think that we depend on it so much, that we can not live without it? It frightens me that today 's teens depend on this for everything from the latest news to what their favorite celebrities are up to. We can access this information at any given moment with just a few touches or clicks. Society today depends on this for their comfort, money, news, happiness, and contacting friends, which has formed into a major problem. Social Media can have benefits as well, but based on how it is used today, it is more of an issue than a benefit.
The impact of social media on young people is of specific significance, not just on the grounds that this specific group is psychologically vulnerable. In light of the fact that they are among the heaviest users of social media. While social media without a doubt assumes an essential part in expanding social associations and learning, its dangers can 't be ignored. (Bennet, 2013) Teenagers use social media and networks to find out information, talk to people who live far away, or vent and tell everyone every detail of their life. This dependency on social media has a drastic effect on a teenager’s relationships and can have long term effects on their social capabilities. Studies are showing how many teens find it easier to communicate online than face to face; the teens think being behind the screen makes it easier to connect with one and another.
