The Skies 2148, in the floating islands of the Skies of Terra Firma or Earth, 12:36 PM Boom...Boom...Boom... CRASH!! Terrorist planes fell as the UAN destroy the terrorist group army. The UAN military celebrate after a long battle against the army has ceased. Although heavily tired and exhausted, the military have still not won the war, as there is one more battle to wage against the terrorist group, CF-2134. The military planes come back after a long battle. And the UAN are going to prepare heavily. Before the war, before the UAN and the CF-2134, Humans were living on the land of the now collapsed terra firma. There were what scientist call “continents”. But, after the nuclear war of 2040, the Allied forces found a way to lift islands off the ground, Thus creating the “skies”, floating islands that now became new territory. These wars that are being waged are for resources, territory, and survival. …show more content…
The UAN were very heavily damaged and exhausted of troops and supplies.
They needed help...and fast. “Whoa”. Exclaimed Devan as he and Mike were watching the destruction and littered debris of the fighters and the ships on Television. It was a sight seeing the grey piles of ships and debris mixed with the green patches of grass among countless paths of white concrete Among white buildings. “With this carnage, the military might need some assistance from the citizens“. Devan added “Yeah, we should try to apply”. Acknowledged Mike, Devan’s best friend and comrade. After a few minutes, the two were looking on the computer and realized that citizens cannot join the military, the military chooses the soldiers. “No wonder the military almost lost, they don't allow good, well experienced pilots to train!” Mike complained. And we can't even get any self train docs.” “I have an idea...”Devan said. “...we can steal them”. One day
later… “Got it” Devan smirked. “Now, all we need is some fire power” . “How are we going to get some?...” Mike asked. “...We make some” Devan grinned. After a long time of researching, developing, and assembling, the duo finished their upgraded vessel. It had two laser blasters, two missiles, a countermeasure, and a mine deployer. They trained themself by practice in a simulator. They decided that Mike is pilot, and Devan is the co-pilot. Now, all they need is a battle. 5 days later… Alert! Alert! We are being attacked! All residents, take shelter in your homes! The alarm went off. But Mike and Devan aren’t doing that. They are heading towards their ship. They run, get in, power it on, and start the battle. BAM! BAM! BOOM! The Duo have initiated the fight and has taken two planes down already. As the fight continued, more planes were taken down, and they heard on the radio, “THIS IS THE UAN MILITARY, UNKNOWN VESSEL, PLEASE STATE YOUR PERMISSION CODE AND YOUR REASON TO BE IN THE SKY!!” Not Mike nor Devan replied, and they continued to fight. 2,3,5 more down. The message came again, “THIS IS THE UAN MILITARY, UNKNOWN VESSEL, PLEASE STATE YOUR PERMISSION CODE AND YOUR REASON TO BE IN THE SKY!!” Once more, the duo did not answer. 7...15...19...and victory! The UAN destroyed the group and peace was restored! After a long, but tiring fight, the UAN had won, and in better shape than before. They realized that they had been helped by the duo, Mike and Devan. They both got Gold medals and the military made a militia. The territory expanded and everyone lived happily ever after. ...or did they?!? Just kidding... ...The End.
1. What do you think of when you drive by that big B-52 at the museum? Being the history buff that I am, I think about Vietnam, where that old “Buff” was used the most. “Why should I care about Vietnam?” you ask yourself. Well, last time I checked there’s a history section in the PFE guide, so there might be a test later! The intent of this paper is to inform you about Operation Linebacker II. I’ll explain the events leading up to the operation, discuss the strategy, and finally I’ll sum up the results of a bombing campaign Sir Michael Knight characterized In the book Strategic Offensive Air Operation as “...may have played a role not unlike two B-29s over Japan 27 years earlier”. (Knight: 77) I’ll start by explaining why President Richard Nixon gave the order to begin this new bombing campaign.
The main theory behind such writing is awakening the people back at home, and showing them the seriousness of the situation. Instead of sugar-coating details, or giving just positive accounts of war, it is essential to tell the peopl...
However, on April 28, Tan Son Nhut Air Base was attacked destroying several aircraft and damaging the airfield (Tobin 1978). Attempts were made to continue fixed wing operations. About 1400 hours on April 29, 1975 helicopters from the United States Air Force, United States Navy, United States Marines, Air ...

The United States of America is a powerful and well known force throughout the world. It has become a superpower of nations in just about three hundred years, being one of the newest nations in existence today. Its military reaches out into several countries in the globe and holds a presence as a peacekeeper and wielder of democracy. Of the US military’s five branches, the Air Force is the ruler of the skies, keeping control of the earth’s aerospace. Without the Air Force Special Operations, the military could not complete operations as effectively or efficiently as it potentially could. The United States Air Force is a key part of America’s mission to spread and assist democracy throughout the world.
As the blood trickled down the flight attendant’s neck, they all prayed that they wouldn’t die. A dark skined man headed toward the front of the plane to claim his next victim. He slowly pressed the cold, red blade of a knife into the pilot’s neck. Many of those who saw screamed. They all knew, then, that they would die. Passengers felt the plane take some wild turns and they realized that they had turned around. Not long after this occurred to four planes, every single passenger died. Terrorists had taken over planes in America. Four planes, nineteen terrorists, and almost 3,000 dead people later, the United States of America has been changed forever.
Less than one percent of all Americans enlisted in the military. An even smaller percentage of high school students are enrolled. Students are thought to be incompetent, and not mature enough to decide on enlisting in the military. However, students should be allowed to join the military. The military offers many benefits students can use to help their future.
Gunshots, Fire, bombs, all flying in the sky. Men in uniform are scattering for shelter. It seemed all to simple for General Grant, “Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike at him as hard as you can and as often as you can, and keep moving on.”
I chose this article because I can especially relate to it. After I am done college, I will be signing up for the military, but not sure what branch yet. When you go to the recruiter’s office, they are like businessmen saying anything that you want to hear, because their job is on the line if you don’t end up joining. They are everywhere, high schools, colleges, and even around town. They give out free t-shirts, pens, and video games all to lure you in to joining. Recruitment is even harder today than ever before. The military use to be the place you learned a trade, nowadays men and women are heading to college where they can get the education they need. The military is no longer stressed as a...
"A young man who does not have what it takes to perform military service is not likely to have what it takes to make a living." When joining the military you must perform your best to protect our country. Tons of men and women around the world fight for the country and make a career out of it. There are three major branches and many different jobs to go with each one. Each have many specific tasks. (Robbie Hughes Interview)
However, it is evident that the implementation of these specialized aviation units has enabled Delta Force to execute its missions with much more accuracy. America’s ability to reach out and touch someone has come a long way since the failed mission of Operation Eagle Claw. Ignoring the political side of things, it is very comforting to know that such a precision instrument exists. “You guys are the meanest and ugliest fuckers I’ve met in my life. But I love you. You guys saved my life and I’m eternally, eternally grateful…So long, guys.” (Kurt Muse)
"The drone of the planes could be heard for miles and made us on the ground feel as small as ants. There were over 1,000 of them overhead, in a perfect formation, each one with four engines roaring. They looked invincible to us on the ground; there were so many of them. After seeing the destruction that they brought upon the German cities and factories, I was thankful they were on our side."
Back a few miles from the front line, the officers make plans to attack the enemy. 250 miles away, comes the air support knowing that their men are okay and that the enemy are still there, like sitting ducks. The officers’ room is badly lit and the bulb is constantly flickering on and off from the shaking walls. There are maps and dossiers scattered all over the table in the centre of the room. The dossiers contain vital information in them, n...
A soldier, conscripted or not, will face many stresses during their career. Serving for any amount of time is a trial, but some are more suited to the military than others. A drafted soldier may go through their entire mandatory term feeling miserable and insufficient, completely overwhelmed by the tasks that military professionals easily complete. These pressures and the denial of a choice of career should not be placed on any person. The idea of a two-year term of mandatory military service being implanted has been brought up. Military service should not be mandatory not only because it violates fundamental individual rights of humans, but also due to the fact that a military based on volunteers would operate much more impressively than one comprised of conscripted soldiers who would not have chosen to serve otherwise.
