Some strategies to do if they do show up would be to monitor their behaviour, dealing with them accordingly, if they won’t leave take appropriate measures. Monitoring their behaviour is a strategy as though they aren't causing any inconvenience you can consider them staying if you would like If you do happen to not want them, deal with them accordingly, for example, requesting that they politely leave, get somebody to escort them out, inform them that it is invite only. In the event that the uninvited visitors happen to not agree to leave and get furious and begin to resort to violence or if there are an excessive number of gate crashers take appropriate measures such as calling the police. This strategy will work as said MA security group "Nine times out of ten, they'll leave once they know that they've been found out." Along these lines, if intruders do happen to go to Georgia's party there is a high likelihood of them leaving her party. You should always have dependable reinforcement/group of friends while asking them to leave as that could threaten them due to being more of you and less of them, unless in the occasion there is more of them the police will always work. These are just a portion of the strategies that can be utilised from the circumstances that could occur in case study

Setting: That was Then…This is Now, had multiple settings but it was mainly placed in either Charlie the bartenders Bar, or in Bryon’s house in Tusla, Oklahoma. In Charlie’s Bar, there is a set of pool tables, lounge chairs and booths, and a long bar. It’s centered near an alley and has a big neon “Charlie’s Bar” outside of the building. Bryon and Mark usually go there to relax for a while, get a couple free cokes from Charlie, and hustle people into playing pool. Though Bryon and Mark are still underage to be in the bar, Charlie keeps a safe guard watching over the two, just in case one or two police come in for a drink. Bryon has a growing I.O.U fund for Charlie since he’s been getting about two cokes every time they go to the bar, but Charlie lets it slide because they two are good friends. The other main setting of the story is Bryon’s house. It is a two-story house, which resides Bryon’s mother, brother, and Mark. Mark lives there because Bryon’s mother had adopted Mark. Bryon’s house is located in the low-income area, where the ruffians live. Though there are a lot of gang-related people there, Mark and Bryon are good friends with everyone, and nothing bad usually happens in there presence.
Eighteenth birthdays are a time for celebration and good times. It was my friend’s big day and she wanted just that. She asked her parents for a party, and like most teenagers she wanted alcohol to be involved. In order to keep her house and the people inside it safe, she had to make a few precautions before the party. These rules ranged from keeping the music volume moderate, closing the windows, and warning the neighbors beforehand. The party was under control and everyone was being courteous and controlled. Around midnight, two new guests walked around back through the sliding door and crashed the party. Unfortunately, they weren’t just people we forgot to call, they were police officers, and once they entered they immediately began arresting my friends. Luckily, none of us were charged because the police officers lacked probable cause for entering the house. I thought I would never see that kind of police harassment again. Unfortunately, I was dead wrong.
When a wife surprises her husband on his birthday, an ironic turn of events occurs. Katherine Brush’s “The Birthday Party” is a short story about relationships, told from the perspective of a nearby observer. Brush uses the words and actions of the married couple to assert that a relationship based on selfishness is weak.
We knocked on the door of the off-campus apartment, as it opened we were confronted with the heavy stench of alcohol. A young girl was passed out on the living room floor, a pile of empty beer cans filled the kitchen sink, and the deafening music rattled the window panes. A group of girls managed to stumble past us. They waved goodbye to the host, who was handing drinks to me and my sister. It was not my first time drinking. In fact, everyone there was quite experienced – after all, it’s college. Half of the guests were completely drunk, and I had no problem with it. That is, until later that night when my sister locked herself in a room with a guy she had met only a week before. This prompted me to seriously consider the effects of alcohol. Would my sister have been able to see the danger of the situation had she been sober? Would the absence of alcohol have prevented the events of that night from occurring? These questions, along with the vivid memory of that night, fueled my examination of the complex social problem of underage drinking.
The National Minimum Age Drinking Act was signed into law on July 17, 1984. This law was carried out at the federal level and forced all states to raise the minimum drinking to 21 or face cuts in federal-aid cuts in their highway funding. I believe this law must be repelled and that the drinking age should be lowered to 18. We must decriminalize the notion of underage drinking because why must 18 through 20 year olds be treated like children but charged as adults?
Before discussing the effective solution to underage drinking problem, there is a special conundrum arouse a controversial debate in the public. Nearly one month ago, one of my roommate’s friend came to our apartment and drink heavily when no one noticed her. She finally passed out without any conscious and couldn’t gave any feedback when we tried to wake or touch her. All other people shocked and a dilemma appeared that if you call the police, we may be all get into trouble and recorded an illegal action in the rest life, but if you don’t, this friend may risk her life even dead from the alcohol poisoning. After a controversial debate for
Many teens face adult problems at a very young age. Underage drinking viewed in the eyes of parents and law enforcement agencies is a major problem among teen. In today society, kids are being pressured into doing things at a very young adolescent age. Problem many parents are facing in their own life are also posing as problems on their kids.
My high school was like any other, and within its walls, you could find the standard division of teen culture played out in three main categories: the popular kids, the nerds & the metal heads. Though the names of each clique may change from one generation to the next, the roles remain the same. On April 20, 1999, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold made history when they beseiged their high school in the deadliest massacre ever recorded in United States history for an American high school. In the aftermath of Columbine, the writings and videos left behind by the shooters made it clear that they were enraged by the low-level position imposed on them by the upper echelon of their classmates. With limited supervision in our public schools, kids are virtually free to create their own class society. This system of division is the epitome of savagery, creating a "survival of the fittest" atmosphere.
As Junior year rolled around things began to get more interesting. There was a liquor store in Belleville that sold to minors and one night Alan, Alex, Cal, and I went to Max’s One Stop together and bought a ton of alcohol. It was hilarious and we made it just weeks before the cops raided the place and forced them to start checking ID. Junior year was fun with many fun nights but it really didn’t heat up until the end of the year when I went to my first real big party. Will Hogan was a senior at the time and he threw a darty for his grade and invited only four of us juniors. It was really fun and my first experience at a real party. Things started to change after that. Near the end of June I got a call from Luke Worley. In Luke’s call he
Alcohol is a drink that is a common social norm in our society today. Alcohol is rising concern for not only adults, teenagers too. This is not a new situation and the concern has existed for years. Teenage drinking has become one of the largest social issues among young people in America today. There is simply no way of preventing underage drinking although it is illegal, there are ways to inform teenagers the effects and harm it does to your body. You simply can not tell college kids they can’t drink, it is unenviable, but again teaching the consequences and concerns can further their education with alcohol related substance and situations in which they encounter.
In the critical incident described above, the main culture to take into consideration is the culture of adolescence. During the transitional period between childhood and adulthood, known as adolescence, many vital milestones must be met in order to ensure academic and personal success and wellbeing. Morbidity data allows for assessment of many conditions and non-fatal diseases that develop during adolescence. The top five causes of morbidity in adolescence between the ages of 10-14 include; unipolar depressive disorder, iron deficiency anemia, asthma, back pain, and anxiety disorders. Mortality rates of adolescence have been shown to decline in the past decade. The leading causes of death among the adolescent age group include; road injuries, suicide, lower respiratory infections, HIV, and interpersonal violence. It is estimated that 1.3 million adolescents died in 2012, and the mortality rate is 111 per 100,000. In regards to poverty, there are currently nine million adolescents who live in low-income households and there are four million adolescents who live in households that are at or below the federal poverty level (Adolescent health epidemiology, 2017).
As parents we need to weigh the risks and rewards and go from there, but I think it is clear that the risks of a slumber party far outweigh the positive rewards for the child and that is why I have a blanket ban on all sleepovers at non-relatives houses.
