Many people question if they should risk their money for college education for the sake of their uncertain future. Getting a college degree can cost thousands of dollars, and people become burdened with the student loan which has increased over the past few years. Despite the financial difficulties, many students strive to go to colleges for the college education is priceless. A college education can offer students more than endless assignments and complicated exams. Students can discover their passion and experience a wide range of activities. Going to college is indeed such a difficult financial decision to make. However, “many colleges are not expensive, once financial aid is taken into account” (Source D). There are many programs such as FAFSA that help student pay for college. The statistics show that public four-year colleges only cost about $2,000 which make it affordable for the students to attend college. Many young people are looking up to the self –made billionaires such as Mark Zuckerberg, Steve Jobs, and Bill Gates who are successful college- dropouts. Therefore, they question whether or not to go to college. Some people also argue that “without the opportunity of learn through the hands, the world remains abstract and distant, and the passion for learning will not be engaged” (Source A). They believe that they will not learn by sitting behind the desk and studying for more than eight hours. Instead, they have to work and gain experiences. Steve Jobs, for instance, dropped out of college and became the father of Apple Products. Still he credited the calligraphy class he took for his invention of fonts and typography.
