Now you've got this recurring role on Supernatural.
That's right. I'm officially allowed to talk about it after all of this time. I told Danica that I had a third callback for the role. We had been filming in the fancy mall downtown shooting for My Christmas Dream, and they wanted me at 10:30 in the morning for this final producer callback. I had to go from scruffy artist single dad to tuxedo James Bond. I had about an hour and a half turnaround. I think I was so loose and just running on fumes and had done enough studying. I was exhausted, but I literally went into adrenalin mode. I went in and did one of the best auditions of my life 'cause I knew there was a lot riding on it. About three weeks later, I had booked the role. It's a real

The way I counterbalance this career, reading scripts and being inside and driving around Los Angeles and flying and being on sets for all hours of the night and being with my family...after that is all handled, I really just love to walk into the woods. Get up a mountain and go to see a lake and all that stuff. That really fills my time. Resetting the hustle and bustle of the business with God's creation and a hefty dose of nature. It always resets my bar. I always say that if you can't be relaxed at the top of a mountain, you'll never be. I'm still a country boy at …show more content…
The question for me was always--can I make a living doing just this? And I had what I call that rollover moment about ten years into living in Los Angeles. I've basically been a working actor for the last ten, eleven years. That to me is success. That to me is "I made it." Everything else is gravy. I've had pilots that have failed just like George Clooney and any actor. I'm enough of a veteran now where I try not to analyze where this is going to lead or where I'm at perceptively or how people view my career. All I can do is show up day to day on this show right now which is the biggest show I've ever been on and the best role I've ever had, possibly the most high profile and just go moment to moment, day to day, role to role. It could lead to nothing... I don't know. Anytime you think you're on the crest of something, usually the universe goes, "Nope, you're not." Then other times I think, "Well, that show's not gonna go anywhere," and all of a sudden you're like, "Whoa! People love that show!" I would be the worst person to ask about where my career is heading. I just try to keep it simple. Just grateful for the job, do my best work, be on time. Just small town
The Entertainment Industry is an expanding industry with numerous career opportunities especially for the quick learning students in today’s world. I chose to study the entertainment industry because I have always had a passion for it. I grew up with music always playing on the radio and if the radio was off, the television was tuned into some show. I know many people listen to music and watch television all the time, but there is so much more to this industry. Being so passionate has led me to studying specific things in the industry and learning the ins and outs of it, which is helping me to find a potential career. There are many people in the industry that I look up to and one person, who has made it in particular, is Debra Rathwell.
In the introduction, the author has done a good job engaging the audience with emotions, and painting a vivid scene of the seals being slaughtered. This essay does a good job of acknowledging the other point of views. This essay also has a good, clear sense of structure. The author has a strong thesis statement, that gave a clear indication of what the following paragraphs are about.

I've always wanted to be an actor. I've always liked performing. We used to live in Alberta, and I didn't have much opportunity there. But we moved here {Vancouver, BC}, and I got an agent, and here I am.
Many students who are enrolled in FFA are already heading in the right direction to a bright future. FFA has many career benefits within the program. Any of the career development events (CDE’s) have something that will tie to a career in agriculture or to a career of other sorts. According to the National FFA Organization, “FFA members embrace concepts taught in agricultural science classrooms nationwide, build valuable skills through hands-on experiential learning and each year demonstrate their proficiency in competitions based on real-world agricultural skills”(“Statistics”). There are so many careers that tie into FFA, and many of them have to do with agriculture. Not every career that has to do with agriculture is about farming. There are so many different aspects of the agriculture industry that many people never think twice about. Most people are not interested in agriculture because they think it is just about farming or
Have you ever felt stuck? Wherever you are, it’s the absolute last place you want to be. In the book Into the Wild, Chris McCandless feels stuck just like the average everyday person may feel. Chris finds his escape plan to the situation and feels he will free himself by going off to the wild. I agree with the author that Chris McCandless wasn’t a crazy person, a sociopath, or an outcast because he got along with many people very well, but he did seem somewhat incompetent, even though he survived for quite some time.
The Turn of the Screw by Henry James has been the cause of many debates about whether or not the ghosts are real, or if this is a case of a woman with psychological disturbances causing her to fabricate the ghosts. The story is told in the first person narrative by the governess and is told only through her thoughts and perceptions, which makes it difficult to be certain that anything she says or sees is reliable. It starts out to be a simple ghost story, but as the story unfolds it becomes obvious that the governess has jumps to conclusions and makes wild assumptions without proof and that the supposed ghosts are products of her mental instability which was brought on by her love of her employer
“Justice cannot be for one side alone, but must be for both” (Roosevelt). The goal of America’s legal system as we know it is that everyone is given an equal opportunity to stick up for what they may or may not have done, as described by former first lady Eleanor Roosevelt. Also this is what officials strive for, it is not always the case. Facts can be skewed, distorted, or misrepresented to make one side seem to be guilty without a doubt and to make the other side seem as if they have done nothing wrong. The Crucible by Arthur Miller begins and ends with one-sided accusations of witchcraft. It all results from a group of girls who had been dancing in the woods. After two fall sick, the accusations begin. The girls who were dancing, especially Abigail Williams begin blaming others to look less guilty themselves. Accusations are flying left and right so that soon, hundreds are in jail and over a dozen are executed. Abby’s main goal is to get rid of Elizabeth Proctor, so she can be with John Proctor, a man she previously had an affair with. However, John is not interested in Abby and his

Witch hunts” constantly reoccur throughout history - in 1600s, 1953 and in 2014. Good morning, fellow directors. Today, I want to demonstrate that “the crucible” by Arthur Miller in 1953 is not just a play for 1953, but a play that relates to any period of time, notably to our modern society. The crucible is an allegory of 1953 McCarthyism and social chaos of the time. Today’s government manipulated the truth creates the fear of “outlawed bikies gangs” similar to 1692 theocratic government creates fear of witches and McCarthy’s communist terror. Unfortunately, the truth is never clear cut, but skewed, twisted and sculpted lies that shockingly benefit a small governing body and its ideologies. Therefore, ‘The Crucible’ is a worthwhile play to be shown in Queensland Theatre as it reminds us of an invaluable lesson and could prevent the same foolish action reoccurring on future generations. The play intertwines with significant themes such as lies, truth, power, stereotypes and mass hysteria which are pivotal dynamics in today’s society.
How can teens use cell phones and become Dragon Slayers help the community they live in? In the article Minutes That Matter, 14-year-old Brittany Bergquist and her 12-year-old brother Robbie, collect cell phones that are old and/or no longer working and send them to a recycler in Michigan who pays them $5 for each phone. Brittany and Robbie donate this money to buy pre-paid phone cards for the troops in their community. In the article Defeating Dragons, local teenagers ages 14-18 both boys and girls provide emergency services 24/7 to residents in their community. The teenagers all are certified emergency trauma technicians with over two hundred hours of medical and fire-safety training. Even though these are 2 separate programs these teens saw a need in their communities to help people save money, lives and property.
It took little else after that to make me believe that what I had been witnessing was real. And, at the end of the twenty-five second long video, you could hear a voice call out, “Enough, already, guys,” which I had assumed was coming from whoever was holding the camera. “Just end him already before someone gets bit,” he said, and with those words, a downward turn was made in the camera’s direction as it began filming the ground and a gunshot rang out. The video then cut out.
The prospect for the career has about a four percent outlook. The jobs available as of 2012 is about 79,800, and the employment change is about 3,300. The future needs would be the ability to travel and a way to find out about new auditions. A type of career change that would be the easiest would be going from a theatre actor to a screen actor, or vise-versa. Many people whenever they’re retired may even go to teaching acting classes or voice lessons. Acting is needed all over the world, because as said before it is a form of entertainment, and I don’t think I could live without some form of entertainment.
What if there was a practice that took just twenty minutes a day to completely alter the way you feel, think and interact within your social and everyday activities? A woman from England was beaten, molested and suffered traumatically from her agonizing childhood; however, she claims meditation saved her live. She states it gave her inner peace and made every problem, every negative thought and every haunting memory disappear into every moment she spent focusing on herself. Meditation is more than a cultural fad, it is an altering practice that has proven benefits on the mind, body and soul.
“Just as a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life.” According to Buddha, everyone needs some form of spirituality to define his or her life and existence. Webster Dictionary defines spiritualism as “a system of beliefs or religious practices based on supposed communication with the spirits of the dead, often times through mediums.” Though this is one general definition of spiritualism, this concept is one that does not hold a conclusive meaning. Each and every single person has the ability and right to create and practice their own idea of spiritualism. From ancient times to present day, the term and practice of spirituality has transformed, particularly from region to region. Despite the discrepancies in practices and overall understanding of this idea, spirituality has had an effect and impact upon all of humanity since the creation of time. This religion that is believed to have been established in the early eighteen hundreds, after two little girls claimed to have the ability to talk to spirits, sparked interest in this spiritual movement, allowing it to spread rather rapidly over many geographical locations. Aside from being recognized as a religion, spiritualism is also believed to be a form of philosophy and a science in which spiritualists believe that there is life after death and try to demonstrate this through the ability of attempting to communicate with those that have passed on. Spiritualism was socially different from other religions in existence at the time because it presented followers with a more tolerant belief system that assimilated the principles and facts from a selection the world's religions. Spiritualism also made it acceptable for women to play a disti...
