Biography
The unexpected life experiences in Broderick Stephen Harvey's, which started at birth in 1957 in Welch,
W. Va., the fifth and last child of Jesse "Slick" Harvey, a coal miner, and Eloise Vera Harvey, a homemaker. His mother was 42 when she had him. His father would always have this joke when Steve would ask him how old was he told him, "Son why you ask me? You're not eve suppose to be here." The family moved to Cleveland when Harvey was 4 years old, where he graduated from Glenville High School in 1974 before heading back to his home state to attend West Virginia University.
