David Andrew Burd is a modern day Jewish enthusiast rapper and comedian. He is not your average guy. David’s pseudonym is “Lil Dicky” or “LD”. LD was born in March of 1988 in
Pennsylvania. Lil dicky was born and raised by middleupper class parents. He received straight
A’s during grade and high school, and later went on to attend the University of Richmond. He spent a lot of time in college creating music. After college concluded, David did not get a job right away. Instead he worked intensively on creating a music video for his song
“ExBoyfriend”.

LD has an East coast mindset whereas Chris has
West coast mindset. Chris played sports in school LD did not. All of these are very basic similarities and differences. Lil Dickey and Chris McCandless compare and contrast on a much more in depth spectrum.
The word success is a noun. It means: the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. Lil
Dicky was not an overnight successor nor was Chris McCandless. However they both found success in time. Over the course of college, LD spent hours on top of hours creating music before even releasing anything. He never expected to make it big time. Rap was just a hobby LD used to meditate about how he would make money in life. LD was taken aback by the initial success his video created. This was a huge learning curve for Lil Dicky. He did not expect it.

However, over time, LD adjusted to success with the help of a financial advisor, his parents, and close friends. He learned that this was his true passion and how he was destined to make a living.
Chris planned his Alaskan Odyssey months before it actually happened. He spent monotonous hours exploring the US trying to figure out the right way to live off the land.
