Many people ask who's the greatest basketball player. They might say Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, or Wilt Chamberlain. But when people ask who the best 3 point shooter is. They always say Stephen Curry. As a result of Stephen Curry's game, millions of basketball players play the sport differently by shooting threes. Because of this, there has been a dramatic change in shot selection and defense because of one player. Stephen Curry was brought into the sport of basketball with the influence of his dad, Dell Curry who was a NBA player who played 16 professional years in the NBA for the Charlotte Hornets. Larry Bird and Reggie Miller are two of the arguably best shooters ever before Stephen Curry. Stephen Curry shot a higher percentage in one season than they ever shot in their career while making the most 3’s in a season. As Curry's time in the NBA went on, so did his achievements. Stephen Curry went on to win the NBA’s first ever Unanimous MVP while winning the MVP last year too. During this time Stephen Curry went on to win a championship for the first time in his career and Golden State's first championship in forty years. Curry then went on to win three more championships with the Golden State Warriors, which cemented him as one of the best players in NBA history. During this winning period for Curry, he accomplished something that was thought to never be broken. Stephen Curry broke the record for most three-pointers ever. Stephen Curry has 3,747 three-pointers made in his professional career. Stephen Curry's NBA career has many accomplishments that will never be broken and there will never be a player like him in the future of the NBA.
