Steak N’ Shake is a classic American brand famous for the original Steakburger and hand-dipped milkshakes. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night. Most restaurant locations have sit-down, drive-thru and front-window service, which result in a hybrid of services. This restaurants is open 24 hours/7 days per week. Like its name, the menu consist primarily of steakburgers and hand-dipped milkshakes, though other entrees and side items are available. This is a fantastic restaurant to dine at for any occasion.
To begin with, the prices there are very reasonable. Most meals are under $4.00, while shakes and drinks are ½ price during happy hour from 2pm-4pm weekdays only. On weekends you can enjoy 99-cent breakfast tacos and a “kids eat free” deal. The company continued to focus on quality of the food, while keeping Steak N’ Shake menu prices low. It isn’t a regular hamburger, which makes it more eager to taste. A meal is actually worth less than a burger itself. Their fries and shakes are commendable but I am so fascinated with burger that I would rather just order an extra single burger.
Furthermore, the nearest Steak N’ Shake restaurant is located

The meat has a great fresh taste and beats out their fast food competition. The waiters were so friendly and knowledgeable. They were also patient and very respectful when taking down orders. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and the happy hour is one of the best worldwide. The food was also wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. I especially enjoyed the milkshakes, I would consider those irresistible. The best thing about the restaurants’ service, is the great value for such a low price. I highly recommend this restaurant, because you will have such a great time while enjoying your delicious meal at such a reasonable price. This is a family oriented restaurant. They actually give the kids some type of electronic device to operate on while they are waiting for their
food. The employees exercise their functions with what they call the “Three I’s”: Integrity, Intelligence, and Intensity. They have a culture of working on a fast pace, being focused, and being in relentless purist of excellence. The organization also places high value on consistent execution and pleasing their guests with high quality, great service, and the lowest prices possible. The organization vision is to lead and dominate the premium burger and milkshake portion of the restaurant industry. I think this is an excellent place to dine at. First off, the prices are low and it also includes a variety of healthy meals.
The Wendy’s corporation and Bob Evans Farms are both restaurant companies based out of Ohio. Wendy’s was founded in 1969 and now has over 6,000 restaurants worldwide. On the other hand, Bob Evans has over 600 stores located solely within the United States. Both of these companies will be evaluated in terms of their financial ratios. In order to compare the financial success between the two companies we looked at their 2014 year-end 10-k reports.
Everyone wants their food to taste superb when going out to eat. Both restaurants served excellent homemade chips and salsas as well as queso dip. Reading the menu to order was no problem and both places had a wide variety of options to choose...
Let me say that it is exquisite! One reason why Longhorn Steakhouse is still going strong is because of their amazing culinary recipes and practices. They offer more than 1,200 of their own managers and personal chefs, from their own culinary institute. This shows that the chefs in the kitchen really know how to create a work of Western perfection! The T-bone steak, for example, is so juicy and delicious, it’s perfect! You also have the choice to get shrimp or chicken with it. There are many different dish choices, but this is the dish I consider my favorite! What’s also important is the variety of their food. There are a wide variety in all categories on the menu. Appetizers, soups and salads, and so much more, offer you an unforgettable taste that will keep you coming back. Even if you’re a vegetarian, there is always food on the menu for
There is nothing better than an amazing homemade hamburger from In-n-Out. Opened in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder, In-n-Out is a hamburger restaurant that at was established in Baldwin Park, California. Harry and Esther opened the hamburger shop saying that they wanted to have: “the freshest, highest quality food you can buy...friendly service in sparking clean environment”(“The History of In-n-Out”). It is said that In-n-Out was the first drive-thru experience for customers to have. After two years of serving people in their opinion the freshest food people could get from fast food the opened the second restaurant(“The History of In-n-Out”).After 28 years of being open, Harry Snyder died of lung cancer leaving his company to his, at the time, 24 year-old son Rich. Rich worked at the restaurant his whole live and refused to change anything his parents had established:”There is money to be made by doing those things, but you lose something and I don't want to lose what I was raised with all my live”(“The History of In-n-Out”). The only thing Rich ever changed was adding lemon lime soda to the menu, other than that there was no changes to the original menu. There is however a secret menu only true lovers of the burger spot know of that consists of animal style fries, and a hamburger with grilled onions. In 1992 the restaurant moved for the first time to Las Vegas, but sadly Rich only got to see that expansion because of his death in a
Any Chipotle I have always gone to have always had good service. Their employees are great. There is never a sour moment when you ask for anything, they are always kind and welcoming. I am always greeted with a hello and a smile when I step up to order. Even if the employee serving you has had a bad day it never shows, you would never know. Despite the lines being basically out the door every time you come (which is the only downside to coming here), the wait time can give you a headache. It is worth it, because Chipotle for sure serves fast food; they usually have three employees working to serve the food. One to get what you order prepared, one to add what extras you and to finish packing it and one to cash you out. The menu is very easy to read and figure out what you want. They have all of the print on the menu in white and big font so it makes it simple for everyone to read. So there isn’t any trouble ordering what you want. They have many different options to choose from as well. You don’t always have to get the burrito.
It depends on what type of food you get ranging from a burger, a chicken sandwich, or whatever else their menu’s have offer. As said before, Mcdonald’s is cheaper in the grand scheme of things, but really they tend to be generally the same in price. For example, a Big Mac at Mcdonald’s is $3.99 and a Whopper at Burger King is $3.49. Both restaurants have a dollar menu with different kinds of food to offer. From ice cream to burgers, they both have it. But, in the last few years Mcdonald’s has taken a few things off the dollar menu and risen the prices. While Burger King has more things on the dollar menu, that are actually a dollar! According to a survey done by Burger King, the average price of the items on their menu is $4.50. Ah, the drinks, something that most people need with their meals. The prices between soft drinks of Burger King and Mcdonald’s are actually different. At
OPPORTUNITIES: McDonalds has many opportunities to change its look, menu, and customer service. McDonald’s started building newer building incorporating the arch, along with more modern furnishings. The menu has changed by adding more breakfast items and introducing the McCafe in certain areas.

Strategic management is the way of implementing different business strategies and plans to attain certain specific aims and objectives. It involves collection of decisions and different rules and policies that tend to define the results that are generated in the form of better business performance. For undertaking these activities, management should possess an in depth understanding and be able to assess the general and competitive external and internal business environment to take proper business decisions (Cornelis, 2010). Not having to answer to a corporate boss is the dream of many and the flexibility that owning a business franchise creates provides this option. Success is not reached by simply creating a business, however. The level of success is measured by the size and efficiency of the business. Business growth is the driving force of the economy. The additional jobs and revenues created when a business expands allow the economy to grow at exponential rates. One of the fastest and most popular ways to increase the size of a business is to turn it into a franchise, which can then be purchased by individuals. Franchising provides opportunities that are beneficial to both the parent company and the purchaser. The company that owns the business can expand without having to pay such a large initial cost to open a new store since the franchise purchaser pays a cost to open the business. As well, the company can regulate many of the business activities so that there is a sense of consistency throughout all of the locations. The purchaser is allowed to use the trademarks and goods of the franchise which already have a large market presence. As well, they are provided with training and work standards by the company to help their business run smoothly (Kalnins & Lafontaine, 2004, p.761). Looking at the business model of the world’s largest food retailer, McDonald’s, provides great insight into franchising and business growth in general as well a better understanding of a global business that utilizes the franchising technique.
Burger King uses a dispersed configuration for day to day operations as the majority of their restaurants are franchises with local suppliers. Yet Burger King Headquarters uses a concentrated configuration for marketing and development of products, as well as pricing. This centralization of marketing assists all franchises worldwide and provides the greatest value for the company, but the direction of available products and pricing has proven detrimental to the overall success of the firm. An article on CNNMoney.com describes the failure of the $1 double cheese burger to stimulate sales and how a number of franchisees filed lawsuits against the headquarters due to being forced to sell the double cheese burger at less than cost in order to boost revenues for the headquarters and shareholders and not the franchisees.
But with the change of taste and preference, fast food chains like Windy, Taco Bell, and McDonald's have introduced SALAD into their menus. This preference is not stopping with salads. In 2002, McDonald’s introduced great tasting new products including premium salads, n salads plus menu; Chicken McNuggets made with white meat; Fish McDippers; Chicken Selects; and new breakfast offerings like the McGriddle sandwiches. Here as a fast food chain, McDonald did not have to introduce new dishes in their menus but with the impression and image in the market analysis, of increasing demand and changing preference in tastes and dishes has made them bring the changes.... ...
