STATEMENT OF PURPOSE My goal is to expand my knowledge and expertise in the field of Computer Science through higher studies. I have completed my Bachelors of Computer Science from FAST-NU, National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences, Karachi. The undergraduate studies were focused on Software Engineering, Programming Languages, Data Mining and Data Warehousing, Quality Assurance, E-Commerce and Mobile Computing. A few years from now, I envision myself as a qualified research professional in a renowned organization, or a faculty member at one of the leading universities. Pursuit of Masters Program in Computer Science from a reputed institute would be the first step towards my objective. I am an ambitious and passionate individual with great desire to learn as much as possible and utilize that learning up to my best abilities. Computer Science has remained one of my greatest interests since my school days. Growing up during the golden age of Computer Science, I have witnessed the astonishing progress of Computer Science. From video games to online shopping, I have witnessed the massive impact of technology on our lifestyle. The benefits and convenience it offers have always been a great source of inspiration to me. Not only was I curious to explore more about this evolution, I actually aspired to play a part in prevalence of this positive change. It was my keen interest, curiosity, and ambitious nature that led me to pursuit education and career in Computer Science. Due to immense personal interest, I managed to perform exceptionally well during my undergraduate studies. Currently, I am learning Cocoa/Objective-C while undertaking large open-source projects. The more I have learned, the more I want to learn. I believe that this degree from your esteemed institution will be able to quench my thirst for knowledge and will help me explore new depths in my field of interest. My extensive Computer Science background and my ambitious nature will allow me to function well within the program. I have ambitions and aspirations, which I believe can only be fulfilled through higher studies under the supervision of a great faculty such as yours.
