Sport Salaries I think there are some athletes that ask for too much. They should be playing the game because they love it. On the other hand they are getting that much money and can ask for that much, because no one else in the world can do there job as well as they can. Also, you and I and every other working guy is going to pay money to go see these guys compete. So, no I don't think they are overpaid. They are the best at what they do and only an extremly small percantage, of the 6 million people in this world, can compete on their level. When we stop paying so much to go watch them play, buying up all their merchandise, and can endure the games, physically and mentally, as well as these superstars then you can bitch about money.
