The Overstimulation becomes a necessity for users, they desire more information throughout the day however if you take that away it hurts their real world interactions because a person can only give so much information so, when people engage “in face-to-face interactions, they felt more distracted and reported lower enjoyment if they had been using their smartphones” (Dywer, Kushlev, Dunn).
