There has been economic inequality such as gap between rich and poor, income inequality, wealth disparity, wealth and income differences or wealth gap which affects the social justice. There should be job security for the poor so that he can meet the basic needs of his life. One of the major factor in creation of economic inequality is the variation in individual access to education. This in itself leads to good jobs to highly qualified thereby good standard of living to them and low wage jobs or no jobs to less qualified or illiterate. Therefore focus should be on providing education to maximum people so that they do not feel incompetent in the global scenario. Illustration from a 1916 advertisement for a vocational school in the back of a US magazine has shown education as a key to high income and this advertisement appealed to Americans belief in the possibility of self betterment as well as threatening the consequences of downward mobility in the great income inequality existing during Industrial Revolution. The approach according to me is to create such conditions that would attract more and more children to schools. The Government of India has come up with many programmes like “Mid day meal scheme” which encourages children of poor families to join school because there they will get better food and this approach also helps in keeping them away from work at young …show more content…

Proper policies should be framed and implemented by it and there should be good governance to keep a check on those policies. The Global Employment Agenda adopted by the Governing Body in 2003 contains the basic ILO employment policy framework. It calls for an integrated approach with interventions on the demand side and supply side and at macro and micro levels, which aims to improve the quantity and quality of employment. It also specifically advocates targeting men and women at risk of marginalisation and exclusion from working life and calls for policies that can promote greater equity by ensuring that labour markets are free from discrimination.
