A just world is a society where the four basic elements are meant, which include: basic needs, personal dignity, solidary, and social structures. Just this four elements are needed to live a just life and create a just world. The thing is it not that special. In the year 2016, these basic elements aren’t meant; but the wonderful factor is that many charities, organizations, and individuals are striving to create this just world. One of these charities is Habitat for Humanity. This nonprofit organization was founded on the principle to engage the local community members to donate their time, talents, aid, and donations to build affordable housing. This ties in with one of the seven Catholic Social Teaching, being Called to Family, Community, and Participation. As human beings we called to community to aid our fellow brothers or sisters during their time in need. This charity calls their local members to aid the poor and vulnerable in any which way or form. They do this by creating a lovely home, because they believe a shelter is a basic need an individual needs and at the same time it can create a just world. …show more content…

Does everyone deserve it? How can we perform acts of social justice? Is social justice important? These are just a few questions numerous individuals have on the matter of social justice. This concept of social justice isn’t as tricky as it displays. Social justice can be described as protecting the human dignity of life by providing basis human’s needs. This organization does this exact thing with above and beyond measures. They protct shelter, a basis human need. Next, they allow to be affordable and sustainable. Lastly and most importantly, they promote hope and dignity; they “believe that no one lives in dignity until everyone can live in dignity.”
