For M and Ms to get their name, two guys had worked together to make them, and both of the guys last names started with an M, Mars and Murrie. The candies had been available to the public shortly after wartime quotas had ended; after that, Mars had bought out Murrie's share of the M and Ms brand, and had run M and Ms brand by himself. Before the bags were introduced, M and Ms were sold in cardboard tubes. The brown package used for regular M and Ms, that is still used today, was first introduced in 1948. Two years later, a black M was printed on each of the M and Ms with vegetable dye, but four years later, the black dye changes to white dye. M and Ms has a saying that is based on how in the past, the people needed a candy that doesn’t melt, due to little air conditioning in the summer months, so they had decided to say "The milk chocolate melts in your mouth, not in your hand."

Words have a way of changing the way we view the world. They can completely alter our perception of what is true and what is false. Take the tale of Skidmore and Manchester, as dictated in the story ‘The Curse of the Poisoned Pretzel.’ The way the author portrays the character of Skidmore shows just how easily words can change how we see someone by making you believe that Skidmore is guilty of his brother‘s murder, without ever formally saying so.

Squirt is a caffeine-free, low-sodium carbonated soft drink brand with a distinctive blend of grapefruit juices that gives it a tangy, fresh citrus taste. Squirt is the best selling carbonated grapefruit soft drink brand in the United States. The origin of Squirt can be traced back to 1938 when a man named Herb Bishop began experimenting with Citrus Club. Bishop created a new carbonated soft drink that required less fruit and sugar to produce compared to other sodas that were being made at the time. The new drink "seemed to squirt onto the tongue," so Bishop named the drink Squirt. Squirts sales grew during WWII because its low sugar content helped bottlers restricted by sugar rationing rules. By the mid 70's, Squirt was introduced internationally in Central and South America. In 1977 a company named Brooks Products purchased Squirt from Bishop. In 1983, Diet Squirt became the first soft drink in the United States to be sweetened with Nutra Sweet. Squirt joined A&W Brands in 1986, which was later purchased by Cadbury Schweppes PLC in 1993. Responsibility for manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of Squirt was assigned to Dr Pepper/Seven Up, Inc, which had been acquired by Cadbury Schweppes PLC in 1995. It still remains under the Dr Pepper/Seven Up, Inc.
one of the wealthiest men in America. Wrigley started out as a soap salesman in his native Philadelphia. After moving to Chicago in 1891, he began offering store owners incentives to stock his products, such as free cans of baking powder with every order. When the baking powder proved a bigger hit than the soap, Wrigley sold that instead, and added in free packs of chewing gum as a promotion. In 1893, he launched two new gum brands, Juicy Fruit and Wrigley’s Spearmint. Because the chewing gum field had grown crowded with competitors, Wrigley decided he’d make his products stand out by spending heavily on advertising and direct-marketing. In 1915, the Wrigley Company kicked off a campaign in which it sent free samples of its gum to millions of Americans listed in phone books. Another promotion entailed sending sticks of gum to U.S. children on their second
I was a simple boy, named William right after my daddy and mommy fell in love. A boy who would eat nothing but Ferrero Rocher balls during weddings. I have always thought that Ferrero Rocher balls were like marriages, full of surprises in layers which one could only imagine if they had a taste of it. The glimmering gold foil, which wraps around the ball, represents the initial attraction of a couple. Once the ball is unwrapped and placed into your mouth you could feel the rocky outer layer of crushed hazelnuts in thin chocolate that resembles a relationship going through a succession of both good and bad experiences. After all the trials and tribulations you would crush the crispy floor hidden by the hazelnuts to reach a smooth chocolaty blanket engulfing a whole hazelnut, which bears resemblance, to a couple happily in love with a child.
Pistachios are one of the most beloved snacks in history, or at least in my opinion. Pistachios can be roasted baked even eaten raw. The beloved food can be used in almost any dish or simply eaten by itself, but have you ever looked at a pistachio nut and said this one is bad or this one is good; of course not. How are we supposed to know without cracking the shell? This is the same thought for many people how are supposed to know who is good or who is not fit for us unless we get to know the person? Usually people judge others by their appearance they way they walk the way they talk or even by what their parents have done but the Lord sees otherwise.
