Pistachios are one of the most beloved snacks in history, or at least in my opinion. Pistachios can be roasted baked even eaten raw. The beloved food can be used in almost any dish or simply eaten by itself, but have you ever looked at a pistachio nut and said this one is bad or this one is good; of course not. How are we supposed to know without cracking the shell? This is the same thought for many people how are supposed to know who is good or who is not fit for us unless we get to know the person? Usually people judge others by their appearance they way they walk the way they talk or even by what their parents have done but the Lord sees otherwise.
Peach cobbler is a quick and easy dish, for when you don’t have a lot of time. It also is a favorite dish that most people enjoy. The best way to bake a peach cobbler, is to gather all of the ingredients and supplies, mix the ingredients, and bake it.
People always say never judged a person by their cover, yet some of us still do it without even trying sometimes. I have done this on multiple occasions without really trying to judge a person. I once had an experience where I was trying out for a new club team and I saw this girl who looked really mean and scary because of the expression on her face. I always thought if I ever talk to her she would be mean, but one practice we started to talk and she wasn’t at all the person I thought she ways. It turns out that she is a nice person who just takes soccer very seriously. This just shows that we can have a certain opinion on someone by their looks, but they may be completely opposite from the way they appear. There’s this book call “Freak the Mighty” which has a good way of showing the theme of not judging a person
Society tends to misjudge people base on their appearances instead of their personality. As it’s shown on Cyrano de Bergerac story everyone misjudges people. Cyrano was ashamed of the way he looked, especially with his enormous nose that made him stand out. People didn’t care if Cyrano got his feelings hurt they thought he was a cruel person. Its bad when people tends to misjudge people without even knowing them but they just judge them by their looks instead of their personality. People shouldn’t be ashamed of the way they look and it shouldn’t stop them from accomplishing their goals and express their feelings towards the people they like.
Why are people not judged by who they are but instead what they look like? People judge people without find out who they are, what are their values, or their upbringing. Instead, they are categorized as a particular type of people based on how they appear. In Malcolm Gladwell’s essay,”Trouble Makers” he tells of how wrongful generalizations are made on a group of people or things. While in Brent Staples essay,”Just Walk on By” he tells of his personal struggled being racially profiled as an African American man. Gladwell would respond to Staples argument that he is perceived unfairly due to the generalizations that are made towards Staples.
This Cherokee folktale tells the story of the first man and woman on Earth. They were married and lived happily together for a long time. One day, they quarreled and the woman left. The man followed her to apologize, but the woman walked so fast that he could not catch her. It was then that, seeing his frustration, the Sun decided to help him. In an effort to slow her down, the Sun made different berries appear in front of the woman, but she paid not attention to them. It wasn't until she saw the strawberries that she decided to stop. The husband finally caught up with her and apologize.
The Pecan tree is a native tree to North America. When early European settlers traveled across the sea to settle in the New World, they found pecan trees located in numerous places in this new land. Since then, the pecan tree has become one of the most important orchard species in terms of acreage. Indians began using pecans almost 8000 years ago in what is now Texas. The first budded pecan trees were produced in Louisiana in the mid-1800s and orchards have been established throughout the Southern states. The first recorded shipment of pecans to England was documented in 1761, by Spanish and European explorers (Anderson and Crocker, 2004). In 1917, a commercial shipment of pecans came out of Georgia and since then, Georgia has been the leading producer of pecans. Although Georgia is the leading producer, in some years collections of pecans from wild trees in Oklahoma and Texas surpass the production in Georgia.
Man by nature, judges people and things by their appearance. If a person is pleasant looking then they will be given more of a chance to express their internal self. If they are ugly, or cosmetically deformed, they usually aren't given much of a chance to show who they really are. Grotesquely ugly people are sometimes thought of as monsters, and are ostracized. Many cosmetically inferior people are afraid to go out into society. Mankind seems to be fearful of the unfamiliar and unknown. People are afraid of what they do not understand. Deformaty is something that most people can not comprehend.

Many unique pizzerias exist in the New Orleans area, but one local chain of pizza restaurants separates itself from the others. Pizzerias such as Moe’s, Slice, and Naked Pizza are popular local pizza establishments, but they do not come close to the quality of Rotolo’s Pizzeria. Rotolo’s was first established in 1996 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and has franchises located throughout the South. I have eaten there numerous times with different people and every experience was wonderful and delicious. Rotolo’s Pizzeria is a local eatery that displays an exceptional atmosphere, quick and friendly service, and magnificent food.

Judged Upon Something That They Weren’t People are constantly judged based on who they appear to be, however it may not reflect their genuine self. Kat, Petruchio, and Bianca are shown differently throughout the play, The Taming of the Shrew, and the movie, 10 things I Hate About You. They cannot display their true self and emotion due to fear of pain. As the play and movie progress, all of the characters are portrayed as something that they aren’t, whether it’s representation of their looks or imitation of their actions.
Belgium is the place of origin for a number of iconic cartoon heroes – Tintin and Asterix to name just two, but then there are the Smurfs – the village-full of tiny blue-skinned mischievous imps who attract the attention of kids and grown ups alike for several decades. There is barely a country on Earth where the Smurf silhouette is not instantly recognised, although their name changes in every counry: the Smurfs, die Schlumpfe, I Puffi, Los Pitufos, de Smurfen, les Schtroumpfs… The Smurfs were created in 1958 by Belgian illustrator Pierre ‘Peyo’ Culliford as Les Schtroumpfs - secondary characters in a comic strip published in the ‘Spirou’ magazine. At the time of their first appearance, the Smurfs were ‘three-apples tall’, blue-skinned medieval creatures who spoke an odd language of their own – the first ever Smurf popped up from behind a rock and cried out ‘Can’t you look where you smurf? You nearly smurfed me!’.
Despite the notion of horses as pets and companions, horsemeat is widely and willingly consumed in many countries in Europe. They eat horse meat happily and see little problem with the mix-up. However, Britain, much like the US, has traditionally shown a strong disgust to eating horse (Taylor, Adam and Willett, Megan). As with many food taboos, there’s no settled reason for why most americans are perfectly inclined to consume cows, pigs, and chickens however turn their noses up at horse. Horse-eating became popular in Europe in the 19th century, when famines caused several governments to license horse butcheries (Taylor, Adam and Willett, Megan). Nowadays, horse meat is most widely available in France, Belgium, and Sweden, in which it outsells
Many people feel that you can tell a lot about a person by observing what they wear and what they eat. This is not the case. Choice of clothing and eating habits, in no way, allow you to pass judgment on a person. Judging people based on these factors is extremely shallow. What one wears and eats in no way depicts character, behavior, or even intelligence. One simply cannot know a person by looking at them and observing what they eat. Such a thought is ridiculous.
