Literature Review
Problem: Bleaching the skin using dangerous chemicals such as hydroquinone. These products have been banned because they are very bad for the skin. Their side effects are none that one may wish for.
Solution: We will create skin bleaching products made from natural products such as lemon. These products will not have extra acids added to them meaning they are pure for the skin. The first product will consist of pimple preventing products such as lemon. This product will eliminate pimples from the core because when pimples die out they leave dark marks behind that cause hyperpigmentation. The second product will lighten the skin. All these products will be tested on a skin model made from Jell-O and other products. These products will be also tested on Jell-O skin model to see that these products can eliminate hyperpigmentation and also keep the skin moist at the same time.

What is skin bleaching?
Skin bleaching is changing the normal complexion of the skin into a lighter spot free version. Skin bleaching is also done to tone the skin meaning making it look even and wrinkle free. Skin bleaching is done using a series of dangerous chemicals that are harmful to the skin.

Making this product will include using science apparatus such as dropper pipet and beakers. Making the skin model, one will need to be very accurate when it comes to measuring. Exothermic reactions will be included in the procedure e. g when the Jell-O is refrigerated, the little bit of heat that it has will be absorbed by the refrigerator’s cool air. Endothermic reactions will be included e. g when water is boiled. The water will take in the heat from the kettle and the state of it will change from cold to hot.
This whole experiment is linked to science as reaction against the Jell-O will take place, either changing the Jell-O’s original color or keeping it moist. Both may happen at the same time.
We all know that cosmetics existed thousands of years ago. Cleopatra used a heavy arsenal of beauty aids to help her shake the foundations of the Roman Empire. Yes, cosmetics and perfumes have a long history, but the consumer industry we live in is relatively recent, a creation of the decades 1890 through 1920. The products hawked in the 19th Century by druggists, perfumers, barbers, physicians, and a colorful assortment of other enterprising individuals were primitive by our standards. Certainly, active ingredients were used with abandon, notably arsenic, lead, and mercury. These were products that really made visible differences, and the consumer was well-advised to be wary of the majority of these mysterious concoctions.
In this experiment, we tested how the sugar cubes dissolve from different water temperatures. During the lab we made sure to make accurate and precise measurements, so what we did was do the same exact procedure to every section of the lab.

Whether we were born in Africa, or our ancestors originated in such a peaceful place, all of us have some connection to the developing continent. As time has passed, it has become more and more clear that the start of the earth’s population, originated in the heart of Africa. Through the harsh conditions, several species survived and began to spread to various other parts of the continent, and the rest of the world. From six species to three, moving across the country is what allowed our people to expand knowledge, technology and even just adapt to new climates. Being in a warmer environment, closer to the sun, it is necessary for the skin to absorb more sun rays, thus making and keeping the skin a darker color/shade. As time progresses and
This experiment determined what temperature and what type of chemical had the most effect on the membrane of a beet. It was hypothesized that if the beet was put in a higher temperature, then it would have harm the membrane therefore releasing the most pigment into the water, rather than a cooler temperature. This was predicted because when a substance or particle is placed in a cold temperature, the process slows down and when it out in a warmer temperature the process speeds up. For the different chemicals, it was hypothesized that when the beet was put in acetone, it would release the most pigments because it was the most acidic chemical; if it's strong enough to take off a chemical like nail polish then it would break the membrane of the beet. The hand soap was thought to have the least effect on the membrane of the beet because its acidity was a little higher

Skin color is a polemical and highly evaluated physical attribute (Kim,2014) within the black community, as it influences their economic attainment (Goldsmith, Hamilton, & Darity,2006), mate selection (Hill,2002), litigation (Blair, Judd, & Chapleau, 2004). Skin tone stratification and has been historically ingrained in the black community for many generations. During the era of slavery, skin-tone stratification had a continuing impact on the black community as lighter skinned African
The era of globalization has significant impact on consumers’ lifestyle and living standards through the improvement of economy, technology, and social communication. Although the people are living in an advanced-technology environment, at the same time, the people are exposing to the polluted environment as well. Therefore, we consume or apply certain products to protect our skin which is the most vulnerable organ that will be exposed to the threat of pollution.

These products can severely harm the body. Whitening products can cause skin discoloration, malfunctions of the nervous system and internal organs, and an increased risk of cancer. Another interesting beauty regimen in Cambodia is to achieve long, elegant fingers that curve back. At a young age, children will physically stretch and bend their fingers, along with growing out their nails to prove that they are rich. Why is it that women have to increase their chances of a chronic disease just to please
In the United states, there are many people who have different colors. There are dark skin and white skin people and because of the variety of colored people, some controversial issues are growing in the U.S 's society. Many people argue about ethnic discrimination and racism in this society since years ago. The United States of America has independent system that has historical policies, and still these policies are playing a significant role through the white skin people. As a result, racism has been developing in many domains in this society. These polices should be used, so there are institutions that held these policies. Because white skin people control these institutions in various domains, these policies that the white people control represent racism in public resources including housing, health care, and education. As a result, many people who have a dark skin color are affected negatively because they do not access to their resources fairly.
At present, cosmetics are always used in daily life. When we talk about cosmetics, most people will think of the things that only use for make-up such as lipstick, eye-shadow, mascara, blusher etc. But in fact cosmetics are not only mean to the things that only use for make-up but also shampoo, lotion or sunscreen. These days, it seems like everywhere we turn there's another "new and improved" skin care product claiming to reduce fine lines and wrinkles or rejuvenate tired skin. Like many people, I've tried my share of fancy (and drugstore) product, spent hundreds of dollars and wasted an enormous amount of cupboard space, only to throw everything away several months later. There's no question, it can be tricky navigating through the universe of skin care products and creams. So why bother?
In discussion, it were suggested that the individual him/herself, should approach the dermatologist to do skin checkup, and get suggested the right skin care and beauty products; and the products should be avoided for any skin allergies. This is a better way where the consumers will have a better idea of what needed by their skin and they can consider this when buying beauty products and also to avoid overspend. The consumers also should check for the review of users of the beauty products they planned to buy and visit the government website to check the registered and certified beauty products; and also to report the uncertified one for the government to take action. It will make people aware of brands that do follow the rules set by government and have less side
