Ensuring that we pick up, transfer and deliver the correct shipment seems like a simple process. Errors happen, but we must strive towards eliminating simple checking issues. Cross delivering of shipments do occur, and when it does, it creates major issues. Cross delivery of a shipment can be a series of mistakes, mistakes that we need to catch during a shipments journey to the consignee. Recently we had two shipments from Ford Meter Box crossed delivered between Canada and the United States. Ford Meter Box ships from our 421 Birmingham, AL. terminal. The first DC improperly checked the shipments and transferred an incorrect skid to destination. Destination then checked the IB shipment off clear and the P&D driver then delivered the incorrect
skid. This mistake has cost YRC Freight lost revenue and a lot of lost time recovering this cross boarder shipment. • As a team, we must start the proper process at time of Pickup. Check the labels on what we are picking up, do the pieces and addresses match up to your BOL. If not correct, stop and question the shipper. Correct the problem right at the start. During the transfer process the same scrutiny must be used. Read the shipping labels when loading and unloading. Do the addresses match your transfer bill or your Delivery Receipt? If not correct, get with your supervisor or OSD personnel to figure out what happened and where the freight needs to go. The P&D driver is our last chance in catching a cross delivery error. At the time of delivery, once again, the P&D driver must check the labels closely. Is the consignee only receiving what is truly theirs? Working together throughout our system, we should be able to eliminate cross deliveries. Do your part, check your freight.
The Shipping Manager’s activities required a different approach. He used coordination through formal hierarchy. The Shipping Manager assigned the Team Leader tasks that required more supervision and resources. He gave an order to the Team Leader who divided it among his Pullers. The Pullers would enter the tunnel, assemble the order from the various coolers and send it down the track to the awaiting loaders. The Loaders would remove their assigned color-coded stacks and put them in the appropriate trucks for delivery. This process did not require special training but it did require more direction from the Supervisors than the warehouse functions.

In the novel, The Hot Zone by Richard Preston, the author discusses the many deadly viruses found in the field. The viruses are widespread due to the errors that occur when the viruses are in the presence of human beings. The effects of the errors performed by the human race include a decrease in population and wildlife. The viruses are spread in many different ways in the novel, but all are due to human mistakes.
Let’s assume we have a pallet in manual check and we want to break it down to 80 totes. If this pallet has any problem such as not on shipment, no PO, no barcode then we will create 80 problems from just one problem and then problem become bigger when we inject 80 problems to the line 16 because everybody in 20 stations will pick one of the totes and turn on his blue and waiting for problem solver to fix the problem. This kind of problems definitely will slow down all associate at the line and they will put more pressure to problem solver and water spider while we need to stop creating problem from the manual check.

The North American transport system is run by several different agencies, each one having its own important part in making it all run smoothly and efficiently . There are also several policies that have been put in place to keep the transportation system working for the good of everyone. The agencies involved keep very good records of all the types of transportation that make up the system, which makes it easy for anyone to be able to see all the different statistics associated with the system. The Freight broker business is another important part of the transportation system, the following paragraphs will tell how all these things work together.

Gardner Trucking Inc is a trucking company that has over 1200 freight trucks specializing in different deliveries of goods such as paper, cans, metal, and doors to companies such as Corrucraft, Budweiser, Pepsi, Metal Containers, and Home Depot. Each freight truck can make up to 10 stops a day delivering to different customers. With each location, paperwork such as proof of delivery, invoices, and bill of ladings must be turned in, along with driver logs by the driver to the central office so that it can be properly billed and filed away. With over 1200 trucks making on average of 5 stops, and 3 pieces of paper per stop along with 1200 driver logs, that comes to about 20,000 pieces of paperwork everyday that must be processed. The current process involves sending the paperwork to the central office via courier or by UPS. Everyday approximately 30 boxes of paperwork must be sorted, copied, entered into the system, billed to the customers, and then put into storage. Also, a copy of the proof of delivery and invoice must be sent to the customer so that the company can get paid. Gardner Trucking has approximately 40 employees in the processing department to handle the incoming paperwork as fast as possible. This process alone can take up to 5 days from the time a customers product gets delivered before a customer gets invoiced The paperwork must also be filed and stored properly for each customer for up to 1 year of all deliveries. Gardner Trucking has a warehouse along with several containers to store all the paperwork. Sometimes customers will lose the proof of delivery or say they never received it and request a copy be sent via email, fax or mail in order for the invoice to be paid. At that point, the paperwork must be found, a copy made, given to accounts receivable to send out and filed again. Sometimes the invoices do not get paid or deeply discounted because the proof of delivery could not be found (after spending many hours to locate it) to send to the customer.
The Beck Anxiety Inventory was designed by Aaron T. Beck and is self report scale that consists of 21 items. The items are short and straightforward, making it easy to read and comprehend. All items are related to anxiety and describe a symptom of anxiety that is rate on a four point likert scale according to severity. The answers range from 0-3 and the responses range from “not at all” to “severely; I could barely stand it” and all items are added for a total score. The instructions on the test ask for the respondent to “indicate how much you have been bothered by each symptom during the past week, including today, by placing an X in the corresponding space in the column next to each symptom” (Dowd, 2008). The assessment is intended for adolescents and adults and can be administered individually or in a group setting. An additional copy of the inventory test is also available in Spanish. It was originally created from a sample of 810 outpatients of that were predominately affected by mood and anxiety disorders and research on the original development is described as informative and thorough.

In the following essay I will attempt to attack John H. Hick's view of verification, and how it can be processed within steps. I will expand on how religion, and everything that is contained within it, can't be verified at all. Although Hick discussed the problems of verification in Chapter 8 "The Problems of Verification" in Philosophy of Religion, he lacked discussion on crucial elements, discussing the problem of verifying religion as a whole.
