We welcome Rob Bean back this week from Leave! Expanded test of routing partial shipments directly to OBIC (instead of going through QC and the Dock first) to both sides of the week. Initial results are positive! Recently completed project to return nearly 450 pallets of unsold blitz items to be sold at Walmart stores. Team is working hard on clearing the dock and introducing HV sku’s. Taking voluntary OT for M-F extended hours. 7:00 – 5:00pm. Preparing for the possibility of Mandatory OT, strongly encouraging voluntary sign up, & also soliciting assistance across the FC on a daily basis. Well-earned sir, we are Proud! Pick rate from “fast lane” TBD. After racking installation and storage areas are determined the pick rate for specific areas will be readdressed. 96% Shelf separation in SS shelving. This includes separation by consumable, non-consumable, aerosol, high value, cosmetics and Lithium products. Completed first week of Monday to Friday shift in case put away. Staffing will be a major focus as we look to optimize work flow from receiving to put away. Partnering with IC and Maintenance to clear out all SKUs from older shelving (SS0:AG-AR). There are six sections remaining to empty. This shelving is narrower than the rest and will not work with future state bin put away. We’ve created a clean-up checklist to be used each EOS. An associate will walk through and verifies work space. The lead/PM will audit the checklist. We’ve added more 5S areas for cardboard and trash bins, pallet storage and cabinets for cosmetic aisle storage. Beginning this week with VOT opportunities for case put away associates to stay past 5:00pm to finish tote put away. Receiving is driving this push to clear more SKUs from the inbound dock.
