The Holocaust: In Memory of Millions The holocaust was a terrible time in the history of the world that many people wish to forget. This is because many Jewish citizens were mass murdered through genocide based on their religion. Even through the horrific experiences of the Holocaust, many people try to remember and honor the ones who suffered. Literature such as the play “The Diary of Anne Frank” by Francis Goodrich, the play “Terrible Things” by Eve Bunting, and the movie “The Diary of Anne Frank” by George Stevens.
