Recommended: Should female athletes have equal pay

In this modern world we are grateful that people all around the world have created different kinds of sports so that we all can enjoy it with one another. Should sportswomen receive equal pay to their male counterparts? That is the question, because in this modern world we live in sports women are not being pay the same amount of money as the males do. Why is this so? Maybe because they have shorter playing time or is it because they are not interesting as males are? Now why should sports women receive equal pay has males do? They should receive that same pay because gender equality these day are growing stronger and they are hard works.
In tennis, females play 3 sets in the Grand final where the male counterparts play 5 set give or take 1 set in the Grand final. When watching the females play tennis in the Grand final their games are not that interesting where on the other hand the males make their games more interesting to watch. In the male tennis games they make the other opponent run a lot and do amazing tricks but the females don’t do interesting shots to make the games interesting because I believe that males and female all can make their games interesting even if it is in a short time period. Gender equality has grown a lot throughout the decades. It all started when females had the right to vote in 1918 in Britain. From there, females started to become more known in the sociality like running for president and lighting the Olympic flame. In the IOC (International Olympic Committee) its role states in The Olympic Charter, Chapitre 1, Rule 2.7 that it is: “to encourage and support the promotion of women in sport at all levels and in all structures with a view to implementing the principle of equality of men and women.” All in all, gender equality will definitely grow stronger and female athletes will receive the same pay as male
