Michael Dann, a former American television executive, once said, “As a kid everyone disobeys their parents at sometime. Some go as far as disobeying the law. For a minor to commit a crime and their parents to take the blame is only teaching children that it is okay to commit a crime, because they know that someone else will take the blame for it! A criminal is a criminal no matter what age or gender.” There is no doubt that parents hold the biggest responsibility of their lives: raising their children. However, not all parents can monitor, reduce and choose what their child does on a daily basis, it is the child that must make the decision. Although parents instill rules upon their children and have high expectations for them, many factors influence the change in behavior. Social media influences children to make bad choices at very young ages and if their parents don’t know what they are doing, they can’t stop them. Then there are children who “bully” without thinking; there are some cases where they bully other children. These instances have the children committing suicide or go through with school shootings.
