The music people listen to reflect their emotions at the moment. What people listen to can cause them to be desensitized or can strengthen them. With age groups come the maturity levels of what they should listen to. Emotionally and physically listening to what is written in the music will tell whether or not people act on what the music is saying. People listen to music whether they are sad, angry, happy, etc., but it is their choice if they let the music influence them psychologically. If the government were to have all music censored, then it is making the choice for us of what to listen to, whether the government is religious based or not. We would be letting them make us listen to music that they like that we probably don’t like. Religious based governments would make us listen to their religious music, not our own, not eve our own preference. I love spiritual music, but people would not want to listen to it every day all the time, it would get really boring to them. I also love to have the choice to listen to what I want and I know the people do to. If the government were to censor all our music they would be taking away our first amendment rights. If we were to let the government make the choices in music for us we would be handing them our first amendment rights as well. Honestly in my own opinion, we should be able to make the conscience decision in choosing what music we should listen to. If we let the government choose for us we might as well let them veto our constitutional rights. All in all, music would be better left up to the people to decide what should and shouldn’t be listened to. They should have the right to use their first amendment rights and the freedom to choose if music should be censored or
