Net neutrality is essentially the freedom of internet users being able to access all networks and enjoy all web services. These services include applications, websites, content and platforms without any discrimination by the Internet Service Providers (Stiegler 2). The term also connotes that consumers should access all the legal information on the World Wide Web at an equal rate of speed. These ISPs include Comcast, Verizon, and AT &T Network. Disturbing net neutrality can have adverse access to internet users and businesses in various ways. In this age of information, interfering with net neutrality will affect the free flow of information and the benefits that come with it. In essence, globalization has been made possible due to the existence of the internet and imposing regulations on it will reduce the advantages that countries have been enjoying as a result of it. The possibility of sharing information freely has promoted freedom of expression that is a core right that every person should enjoy.
