Cursive is not being taught in many schools and so we do not need it any more. Computers are advancing and everything is becoming electronic. Cursive was made in the 14th century; it was made over six hundred years ago. Computers were made in 1939 it was made seventy-seven years ago. The average adult spends over seven hours a day on some kind of electronic device so they will not have time to learn cursive. For instance, they would rather save
time by sending an email, rather than writing a letter. However cursive is not being taught in many schools and so we do not need it any more. It is found that only six states are fighting to keep cursive. They should just let it go. Those six states are California, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, and West Virginia. Although, that was in 2013 so it could be all the states not teaching cursive. We do not need cursive anymore. Mostly because we already know how to write in print. On the other hand cursive should be taught in schools. Though computers are advancing, you still need to know cursive. Particularly you need to know it to keep your identity safe because it is harder to forage someone's hand writing. The constitution was written in cursive. You need cursive to get a loan, license, and a mortgage. We learn stuff better when we write it down. It would help to write cursive so you can read cursive. Technology is not killing our ability to write, but it is reviving it and pushing our literacy to new directions. Andrea Lunsford, from Stanford University, conducted an experiment to scrutinize college students way of writing. Her results were alarming, "I think we are in the midst of a literacy revolution the likes of which we haven't seen since Greek civilization." Lunsford discovered that only 38% of students writing occurred within the classroom, the rest was written in their own free time. Most of our socializing now takes place online and always involves text or writing. Before the Internet, most of our communication was verbal. The only time Americans wrote was for a school assignment and if their job required writing. Otherwise most people didn't write another paragraph once they left

Cursive is a heavily selective skill, allowing many to succeed, yet people can still succeed without it. This nuance is very true, in the same fashion that a student can be smart naturally, whilst another can be just as intelligent with hours of study. This ideology holds true with cursive writing as well, with established writer Justin Pot stating, “I didn’t use cursive writing; I kept up just fine.” (Source E) Taking a quick look at the way that this is phrased, this points to the better option being to learn cursive writing. Despite his opinions on cursive writing, he notices that cursive writing may be faster in some situations, but he still did just as well as his classmates.
Not only has writing revolutionized, nevertheless writing utensils have as well. Writing utensils have gone from bone, to clay, to pen and pencil in thousands of years. With bone, you would scratch the bone against the clay to create the letters. With clay, cuneiform was formed and written by taking a wedge utensil and make the letters on a clay tablet. And today we use pen and pencil to take notes, write down information, and communicate.

Several forms of therapy exist to treat those suffering from major depressive disorder. Freud’s model of Psychodynamic treatment seeks to help clients identify and work through whatever past events of subconscious feelings may be causing their dejected symptoms. This form of therapy however has not proven to be the most effective because of the potential clients who may be reluctant to relive past experiences or who simply don’t have the patience to wait for results (Comer,2014, p.185). Behavioral therapists work with their clients much like a parent-child relationship, where they encourage clients to engage in activities they enjoy while ignoring their negative behaviors and rewarding the positive. As is the case with children, such therapy
First and foremost, most parents probably take karate and other martial arts as undertakings that encourage violence. Nevertheless, there is little research that submits that kids who learn karate are more hostile; actually, the exact opposite can be true. Karate is a fun art that helps children maintain fitness while similarly developing attention. During karate lessons, children not only workout but they are taught about concentration, respect, and self-control. Kids learn fighting abilities in the perspective of a safe environment that promotes camaraderie and stern attention to the instructor.
Students’ education may require them to take an extracurricular activity that is rooted in music, drama, or art. Most artistic activities take place outside of school and require an extreme amount of passion to pursue. Numerous students choose an activity to focus on, whether that be basketball, theatre, or a book club. These activities give students the unique opportunity to pursue their passion while enrolled in school. When looking at the idea of extracurricular activities as a step into a future career for students, should schools be allowed to force students to take an artistic class?

Balanced development of a child is important. They must be taught to understand the world around them to some degree and manage their daily life. The children must feel included, loved, understood and valued in their community.
Did you know that half of the kids that are born today turn out to be deaf? Studies have proven that parents that are both hearing could have deaf children. People are telling them that they should get a cochlear implant. If you guys didn’t know what a cochlear implant is, it would be that you get to hear and talk like a normal human being. Half the deaf people don’t want to get a cochlear implant because it is really dangerous. I strongly believe that schools should teach sign language in schools. Yes there is school for the deaf and it is called Iowa School for the Deaf, but some people don’t want to go there and they just want to be around regular people and not get looked at funny or made fun of. Kids just want to live a normal life among other kids and have friends and not have to worry about looking at the interpreted while they are trying to do their work.
