A college education has become a must today, which raises the big question, "Why isn’t college free?" Students throughout the United States are focusing on their academics, hoping that their grades reflect their effort. Having the United States government financing, many students’ education has become in our rebuilding economy. Thus, many students, professors, and parents are wondering if free college tuition should be granted. I believe the U.S. government should fund a free college education or add it to the tax system because it will help students focus on their studies instead of working long hours to repay harassing student loans and encourage them to work harder in college.
Universities in Scotland already have made a push for free college tuition. It is tough to do such a thing, but I totally agree with people because college these days is so important to get you a job. Without it, it is very hard to survive because of increasing inflation of college tuition. College is to expand a person’s horizons of learning, and it should become cheaper and should be funded by the government. It may seem a bit hard for this to happen, but if the United States can come up with many outrageous bills or rules, then it truly can happen. Non-profit organizations can accept donations from many people and give the money to schools, which will help fund them fund the tuition of many students. The government could also impose higher taxes on its citizens because many people are getting taxed for things that they have no part in.
