In life, individuals are presented with obstacles where they will choose if they will take a villain or a hero approach to conquer the obstacle. They turn their strengths into powers and hide their weakness from others during their time, and will become widely acknowledged by the world or certain individuals. Specifically, an individual can impact someone life in a powering way that alters the person for the better, transforming the individual as that person hero. An indirect hero is a person who did not go out of their way to help a certain person or did anything on their part to help out the individual. They simply lived their life and interacted with that person similar to how they act around others, Shelby Posey is my indirect hero.
Our parents have been best friends for the past eighteen years allowing our friendship to be destined from the beginning. She was brought into my life indirectly from her mother and as we grow up we have faced hardships and seen troubles together. I have seen them in the two bedroom apartment filthy, and I have seen them in a luxurious thirteen bedroom mansion on a private golf course. The lifestyle from a fairytale come true, a lifestyle that I once dreamed of when I was little. However, because of her mother, I do not wish to ever become that, since all the pain I still see in her eyes even with all the wealth. Indirectly, through Shelby, I have been saved from ever giving myself up just so I can upgrade to something better or be swallowed by peer pressure to drink or take drugs. To confess this to Shelby, as her being my hero by seeing a lifestyle that I hope to never accomplish, will never be revel to her. She is my indirect hero, but will never be known by
