In order to make a leak proof self managment system I believe I must develop an agenda which will allow me the proper time to study and plan thinga out properly. Having a schedule allows me to see what I need to do day to day and will allow me to allocate my time properly in order to see what I should be focusing on at the time. In order to make the most of my time I read that one must work during the times that my brain is at its peak of performance, which can vary from person to person, in order to maximize my performance in memory and reduce redudancy. Second, I must find a comfortable setting where I can concentrate without non important distractions, which can defocus my mind and slow down my work habits. The thing I find difficult is focusing my mind. The fact that I am unable to truely focus on one task and am always stressed or tired from a lack of sleep and standing for 8 hours a day at my job. The thing is everyone's brain is wired differently, and we all learn in different ways. I feel as though I am a kinesthetic learner , because of the way I learned to do everything in the pharmacy. It was a busy day like always and they just threw me into the ocean of prescriptions that neded to be fillled and I adapted, learned, and got used to how things worked. In the article ‘Emergence: The connected lives of Ants, Brains, Cities and Software’ Steven Johnson argues that the self-organizational systems are made up of many interacting agents who aren’t individually smart. In this text Johnson draws comparisons between ant colonies and the internet; he highlights how complexity is organized from the bottom to top, and how it results in a lack of hierarchy or rules, which impose onto a system from a minority. There are however basic rules that govern these local relations that in turn coexist with the organization and the emergence of a complex and sophisticated behavior as a whole. Johnson links the way in which ant colonies obey a simple set of rules that they learn from one another with how they are able to produce an orderly working society.
Self-Analysis Assignment For this self-analysis assignment, I chose the assessment tools that addressed the skills approach, the behavioral approach and transformational style of a leader, which I perceived to be significant in shaping my leadership style. These tools will provide significant insight to my primarily leadership style as well as the component areas of leadership improvement. This one being your first year in college, you may have trouble concentrating while you study. Some techniques that can help your concentration are being selective, relaxing, and over learning. Being selective means to make choices about what is most important to learn. When you are studying, you should be able to know what may or may not be on the test, your notes for the week can be helpful. In addition, pay attention to charts, tables, and illustrations that you think may appear on the test. Relaxing is a good technique to use because when you are relaxed you are able to absorb more information. One way to relax is to use a breathing technique (inhale, count from one to ten, and exhale, and count from one to ten, and so on). Over learning can help you fight mental vagueness. When you are struggling in a class, it is best for you to learn more than you need to know about the subject. You can use these techniques every time you are studying or when you cannot concentrate.
The learning styles test identified me as a tactile-kinesthetic learner, meaning that I learn best by doing, rather than listening or seeing. This means that I need to adapt my studying to methods that correlate with this style. I have found some helpful hints while researching that will help me out; these hints consists of, finding an environment that suits me and makes me feel comfortable, but not so comfortable that will put me to sleep. Inform others that the space belongs to me while I study, and avoid areas like kitchen tables or couches, and avoid multi-tasking. I should eat first before I study so that food won’t come to mind when I’m doing my work. And lastly to always come prepared, I need to bring supplies like pens, pencils, paper and many other equipment that I need.
I know i’m gonna struggle on that threw all my years in high school and college. Even when i get a job it’s gonna be hard to stay on task once things start getting piled up. If i got rid of all distractions that would help. I have to concentrate on 1 thing at a time. Staying on task and not turning my work in on time goes hand in hand. If i have a planner or when everything is due that would help me turn in all my work in on time and stay on task by giving me the things i need to do. Looking at my own approach to time management I have noticed that I am well organised and good at prioritising tasks and jobs. When I log onto my computer to start my shift I am sent down numerous jobs, each job is different and has different deadlines for attendance and completion. I plan my day based around the date and time deadlines of the jobs and also the locations of the jobs. I then schedule the most effective order of completing the jobs, putting high priority jobs at the top of my list and grouping sites that are geographically close to each other. The next dimension is a much more difficult one to come to terms with, particularly for students who have never had the skill of emotional management fostered. It’s this learning how to manage one’s own emotions will allow students to not only see the ebb and flow of their emotions, but to alter their reactions to it (Lynch, 2016). Management of emotions is tied closely to self-control, in which a child learns to delay their own gratification in support of their future success. Emotional management is challenging for all of us, not just for children. But the waves of emotion can be, if not controlled completely, then at least tamed.
Studying has been extraordinary for me for many years now. I define studying by sitting on the bed (Indian sit) and slouching my back against the wall with the notes positioned near my crossed legs. After a few minutes, I began to lie down which eventually forces me to stop studying and just rest. I would wake up after two hours of rest since I’m unconscious of the time; only to think that I wasted a lot of time. Therefore, I wasn’t able to finish studying and get things done. What I did was an improper way of studying – Studying on the bed. Our level of concentration depends on our studying position. We are unable to focus if we are in an awkward position like lying supine on the bed which makes me feel sleepy and lazy. This has been my problem regarding my study habits.
There are many different parts to time management, such as procrastination, strategy, organization, expectations and being prepared. All of them contribute equally in many ways. All of the things that we have spoken about in this paper are highly recommended. The best thing to do when it comes to time management is to set a strategy, become organized and do your best to avoid procrastination. When you manage your time make sure you include the following; studying, sleeping, eating, relaxing and other necessary things. No matter what our circumstances are, we can all use some time management skills in our lives.

Much of my study is spent at home, and as such I am prone to many possible interruptions, primarily from family, having four children, two of whom are under six years old, and the day-to-day problems that this obviously presents. Even as I began writing this, my five year old son needed to be taken to the doctors, which is just one example of how family life can have an effect on the time needed to study.
