What is better than having your dreams come true and knowing that you are the reason for it? My dreams came true at a young age, I met my idol Selena Gomez. All that time obsessing over her, seeing her on the television, and listening to her music finally paid off. It all started with a dream; I’ve always wanted to be her and sing like her. ii had the opportunity to get a chance to meet her 4 years later when I was in High School. It was a radio contest and the person with the most votes wins. That person ended up to be me, and I was star struck. An average person, like me, winning a radio contest! I ended up meeting her and hugging her. After this whole thing happened, it finally hit me. No matter how big your dreams are, if you can dream it, …show more content…
She was a wizard on the show, and I was super jealous. Everything she did in the show made me want to be her! She was super funny and had an awesome personality. Afterall, she was just an actress and the person she was playing wasn’t real. I looked her up on the internet and I found out she was in other movies and shows. Also, I found out she was a singer. My obsession just kept on growing and growing. I bought magazines so I can have her poster on my wall. I bought songs on itunes and listened to her all day. I finally had someone to look up to; I finally had a goal. When I looked more into her past, I found out that her mother had her when she was 16, then her parents split up when she was 5, and she had to live on box food for a long time. She had a rough childhood and that made me realize how strong she was, which made me love her even more. She taught me that even in your lowest moments, you can turn it around by doing what you love and by being positive. It made me want to meet her and see her in person. Since she did sing, I knew that when I had the money, I would go to her concert and see her perform …show more content…
My best friend and I were on our way to the SAP center where Selena was going to perform. We got there somewhat early so we can walk around and just get our tickets early. We finally got our wristbands and tickets at 5 and got in line to meet my idol. The security scanned our tickets and checked us as we go closer. We then finally got into this building and there were a lot of people in there. We were both getting nervous and anxious. Then it happened, the door, that was going to take me to heaven, opened. The securities made us get into a line so the wait begins. We were slowly getting closer, and the closer we get, the more we could hear what was happening inside the meet and greet room. About 15 minutes passed, and we were the next one in line. I couldn’t think or move. I felt as if I was in a fake dream and that I was going to wake up after. Then I came back to reality when the security guys said, “you guys can come in now”. That split second, I think back to all those times I’ve seen her on television, posters, and videos; all those time spent thinking about this exact moment. Could all of this really be happening? We then both walked into the room Selena was in and the moment I saw her, I was speechless. I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t say anything. It felt like someone was sucking all my breath away and I just couldn’t concentrate. I then burst into tears and Selena gave me a hug. In this moment I

According to the National Children's Alliance more than 700,000 children are neglected and abused. Maria Santiago is one of the few children who was neglected and abused at a young age. Thus allowing the cycle to continue towards her own child. Her father had abandoned her at the age of 10, while her mother often physically and emotionally mistreated her from the day she was born. As she grew up, Maria strayed from the right path and went downhill from then on. Later on in her life, she had a child named Allison, who eventually ended up dying at the age of 6 months. I believe that Maria Santiago is guilty of Aggravated Manslaughter of a child.

Krisi came from Albania to live with my family for a couple of years. I have a lot in common with Krisi, we both are very out of the box thinkers and we both are quite curious and creative people, like two friends playing Minecraft and maybe that was why I felt persuaded to tell her anything and everything I knew. I gravitated to her quickly, I felt a deep connection with her and to this day we’re like two sisters who share the same thoughts but from all the way across the world and that's why I had decided to tell her. We were driving up the hill on a foggy day after my figure skating practice and the words just tumbled out of my mouth so effortlessly like someone else was saying them for me, but that wasn't the surprise and when she told me that for years she thought about the same thing, it was truly mesmerizing. I longed to find another person close enough and eligible enough to tell my thoughts to but somehow on this random day the words came out like I had worked so hard yet I only needed so

She explained that she came from a very poor background and that this was the only way she could get ahead. I remember seeing the sadness in her eyes and the hurt of doing what she did. It was at that moment something strange happened to me. His sheer beauty, aura, and personality made me drawn to him as moths are drawn to fire. This is the moment I decided I was going to love him and bore his children until the end of time. We started to see each other secretly for some time and our love only grew stronger as time progressed. He treated me as a proper Queen, and showed me new aspects of life I have not seen before.
I stood there in amazement. A tingle surged throughout my whole body. It was a rush of excitement I had never felt before in my life. When my eyes hit her angelic little body, they froze and I couldn't think or acknowledge anything else around me. The world seemed to stop, hold its place in time, just for that perfect moment. While she slept I stared at this precious little angel. My hands quivered as I slowly reached down to touch her little fingers and feel the softness of her skin. I ran the tips of my fingers very gently across her smooth face, and right away, I fell in love. Then my brother said, "I can wake her up so you can hold her." I was ecstatic, I was finally going to meet her! As I held her, I stared into her gorgeous blue eyes and knew instantly that I would love and cherish her forever with all my heart.
The feeling of being pointed out from a group and made to feel special. That feeling was truly addicting. Anyway, we began talking more and more, our conversations steering more and more towards actually confronting the way we felt, but never quite reaching. She even began sitting with me when she got to school in the mornings, before school starts. That might sound a bit lame, so let me clarify.
