Inspiration influences people to do things on their own that they would otherwise chose not to do unless inspired by someone else. When parents walk into the Pooler Elementary Media Center to attend various meeting they find that inspiration in the form of Sarah Clark. She welcomes and talks about the school and her role with so much energy, enthusiasm and passion that she motivates other parents to be a part of her team for their children and the Pooler Elementary School family.

Sarah Clark currently serves as the PTA president for Pooler Elementary School. She has two sons, who attend Pooler Elementary, one in third grade and one in fifth grade. Mrs. Clark and the family joined the Pooler Elementary bulldog family two years ago when the family relocated to Pooler from Virginia for her husband to take a job at Gulfstream. Mrs. Clark’s fellow parent volunteers describe her as compassionate, dedicated, honorable, and dependable. Teachers view her as an asset to the Pooler Elementary family, who goes above and beyond to make Pooler Elementary one of the the best little neighborhood schools in the United States. …show more content…

She works tirelessly planning and executing school activities, fundraisers, and events to benefit the students. One parent volunteer said it best, “she just doesn’t know how to say, no”. She is an integral part of the Pooler Elementary School family, community and Savannah-Chatham PTA community, who is motivated to share her talents and skills with teachers, parents, and others to ensure the success of our students.
