Being able to use language doesn’t make you literate. It’s essential to use appropriate grammar. Grammar has an impact on how words are read which impacts how well the audience engages with the text. In “Making a Case for Rhetorical Grammar”, Laura Micciche argues about rhetorical grammar is another composition’s driving of commitment to teach critical thinking and cultural critique in order to understand reading rhetorically (717-718).
