Reading is one of the pivotal elements that have an impact on the lives of people. To some people, reading is an important entertainment anywhere and anytime. Choosing books to take on holiday has gotten more difficult in recent years. Now it is a question not just about what to read, but how to read it that is either through paper book or e-reader. Both the print book and e-book are identical in terms of reading but they differ in terms of their layout, ease of use, cost and the availability. The text is the important thing, not the medium, but individuals have their own preferences. Both print book and e-book have identical things for example: cover page, title pages, copyright page, tables of contents, etc.

E-books have a restriction mainly due to copyright issues, and there is not an e-book for every printed book. Not all publishers produce e-book editions. Most e-books cannot be viewed completely until it’s been bought. Paper books on the other hand, are always available than e-books due to the copyright, international legalities, publishers’ decisions, and the preference or need of the consumer to own certain titles in print or other formats. Most books can be used freely in stores before being purchased. Paper book can be borrowed from libraries, shared between persons and even libraries. Since paper books can be shared one person can buy one book and can use that book he bought to read as many books as the person want. E-book cannot be photocopied, sent or exchange with anybody because of all these copyrights law. Anytime I buy an e-book, the only person who can use it is me which means I have to buy a book anytime I want to read a new one unless it’s free. In my opinion, print books are better than e-books in terms of availability.
E-book and paper books both have their advantages and disadvantages, but the choice between paper books and e-books is not a zero sum game. Print books do not have to disappear for e-books to flourish, and e-books don 't have to be the only choice. Printed books are for people who love printed books. Digital books are for those who love digital books. All in all, the consumers decide what they want and the purpose they want it to serve, but as a person who likes both the e-book and print book, I prefer to use the two on different locations where both serves
