EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The project comprises of the structure ,functioning and marketing of a real estate brokerage company called RE/MAX.The company was started by Dave Liniger in U.S. and follows the franchise system. Re/max is derived from words ’Real estate’ and ‘maximum’ which refer to maximum satisfaction of clients, agents, and franchise owners. Re/max India is an initiative of Mr. Samir Chopra in order to organize the scattered system of real estate in India. In India brokers as sole proprietors make the transactions happen within their reach. In India there is no specific training given to people to who trade in this industry. The RE/MAX franchise network is described as "a global real estate system of franchisee owned and operated offices and their affiliated independent professionals" .It sells its brandname across various countries and earns a desk fee and a nominal portion of the commission of sale of transactions.
• 2.RE/MAX India : RE/MAX India is the master franchise holder for the whole country which allows the country to open RE/MAX offices in India and operate as a large network of people across borders.
