In the short story “The Most Dangerous Game”, by Richard Connell the main character named Rainsford falls off of his yacht and finds his curiosity leading him to knock on the door of a house and upon his arrival, he learns that he's going to have to stay alive while being hunted down. Rainsford’s curiosity about the world around him and his reputation as a good hunter leads himself and others to make influential decisions which has a significant impact on the resolution of the story. In the Most Dangerous Game, Rainsford’s hunting skills helps shape the plot but most importantly the resolution of the story.
