Quora Business Expansion Quora has users all over the globe, and is changing the way people share knowledge. As Adam D’Angelo put it, “Quora aims to allow anyone to easily share their knowledge and in the process to dramatically increase the total amount of knowledge available to the world”. To do so, Quora should expand and reach as many people as possible, from the labs of Stanford University to a small village in Nigeria, to the backstage of international events such as the Conclave. While Quora might not be for everyone, expanding the list of topics might be an easy way to serve less-educated people. Gender Male are overrepresented on Quora, while female users are underrepresented. Serving more women in the countries where Quora is already a top website would be an easy way to gain more users. Location Most of users come from 5 countries (about 70% of users), meaning that there is a lot of potential to be exploited. Almost 3B are online world wide, of them, 60% of QUora users come from countries where only 700M of people are online, leaving a market of about 2B people to be exploited.
