Differences amongst Vehicles
More often these days you notice families with multiple vehicles. I have my particular reasons for owning both a car and truck. Both vehicles have their pros and cons and, for each person, these can vary. Although cars and trucks are both automobiles, they have many differences.
Many individuals receive car insurance that is lower than if they were to have a truck. Car insurance tends to have a lower rate simply because cars can’t do as much damage. One other reason car insurance can be less costly, is that depending on the car, it doesn’t cost as much to replace if a claim is filed. Although with insurance, this can also vary with age and gender as well.
Those who own trucks normally pay a higher insurance rate, yet again this varies with age and gender. Insurance companies normally have these higher rates for trucks, due to them being able to cause more damage in a crash. Trucks can also cost more to replace if in an accident and the insurance company wants to make sure the assets are completely covered in the policy.
Cars can be a money saver when it comes to fuel prices. They receive more miles to the gallon, and normally take twelve to fifteen gallons to fill up. In return, they do not have to be fueled up as often. This can also vary depending on how a vehicle is driven. If …show more content…

There is a significant amount in price difference between the car and the truck. The reason trucks cost so much more is that it takes much more to manufacture a truck. They are longer, and the frames are heavier, suspension is more durable to withstand those heavy loads. Tires on a truck are bigger and made of a heaver rubber, costing more. In a truck you are still paying the difference in cost verse value, but there are so many more ways that a truck can be used or made sufficient to make up for the extra money spent to
