During the Holocaust there was a lot of inaccurate news about the Nazis and how they were portrayed was very different from the reality of what they were actually doing to innocent people. There were many aspects of german soldiers that showed many people out of the camps that they weren’t actually helping them like they said they were. These soldiers were performing horrific acts of cruelty among people of many religions but mainly of the Jewish faith. During this time propaganda was definitely used to spread false news about what Nazis had done to millions of people. This included music, newspapers, and films, although there was many other different forms of propaganda (Dennis, 1). Through this, the media usually produced positive things about nazis and officers during the holocaust. This made it seem like they had been doing the right thing all along when they actually created the most known genocide in the world. During the 1930’s is when it started with the propaganda, all the Nazis at this point wanted to start a propaganda campaign that would lead them to destroying any publication that didn’t support them (“Nazi Propaganda”). Joseph was a minister for all of the propaganda and he handled all things related to it (History.com Staff). An example of him being in charge was when he had to search for people that were jewish that had a job that could publish propaganda, after he found them he put them on unemployment (History.com Staff). Overall, Joseph Goebbels was a big part in their campaign about the propaganda.

As it states in “Nazi Propaganda”, “Nazis orchestrated a massive propaganda campaign to win the loyalty and cooperation of Germans”. When you break this quote apart, it clearly explains that the reason for Hitler’s propaganda. Hitler had distributed this propaganda throughout because he wanted to look good for all of Germany but when you look deeper into what he had done, it is very far from a good reputation.

To conclude, you can see that all of these topics can come to the point that propaganda was used to distort the image of what they had done. It explained how all this propaganda was used to just make him look like they were doing to correct thing. In the long term what happened at this time was an awful site and propaganda use had made it
