The epitome of reverential creative passion that has manifested within my inner self, always kept me contemplating newer yet mind-bending ways to tell stories. Ideas fascinate me a lot and that is a reflection of myself I see in front of the mirror every day, questioning myself to solve problems in people’s lives by contributing to a single idea or to perceptualize a character’s story, by immersing the observer in every spec of the character’s life which can cause an inner impact in his human consciousness. That’s what I strive for every day I wake up, whether it be going to a cafe to read people’s emotions or questioning if, the trees were aware that it sways to the tune of the wind. My heart passionately craves to stitch emotions to adventures …show more content…
Over the learning curve I have gained knowledge on how to animate a character, set up a layout for a scene or even develop effective storytelling ideas for my short film thesis, this gives me the experience and the need to apply for a Production Assistant Internship or a Production Coordinator , since I am presently working as a Resident Assistant for the academy of art university for a year, which has taught me how to manage my time and be organized and maintain self-discipline, as a student who is striving to start contributing towards the industry either by being able to manage a production pipeline, I feel the need to be exposed to the real scenario and this is a gem of an opportunity, to begin with. If given this intern position, my mind will always be open to learning and adapting the teachings from the pioneers in the industry and strive for excellence. I will especially be honored and thankful to work with a team with such unique storytelling methods which will completely revolutionize my level of approach towards setting myself a career in this story telling business. I hope to be considered for this
In Annie Proulx’s essay, “Inspiration? Head Down the Back Road, and Stop for the Yard Sales” She goes through great effort to detail the observation, analysis, and finally execution, of using everyday occurrences as inspiration for the creative process. Tiny snippets of life integrated into her psyche, thrusting her shovel into the earth and using whatever she digs up of it.
She allows her readers to ponder about the message she is displaying as she says, “…that the self can interrupt the self-and does- is a darker and more curious matter” (3). She then leads into a thought provoking statement, where she explains that there people that “…that make the world go around,” and those that don’t just make it go around “…but forward.” (4). With this statement, Oliver leads her readers into really thinking about the world and the fact that there are two kinds of the work, but also that they work simultaneously to have the world both “go around” and forward (4). To conclude her paper, Oliver beautifully adds a point saying, “ The most regretful people on the earth are those who felt the call to creative work… and gave to it neither power nor time,” which leaves her readers to truly rethink the way they should go at their creative work (7). Oliver uses strong points exquisitely throughout her paper, and in such a way that forces her readers to think more than they would do for other papers. With such strong points, Oliver displays her creative work message in such a way that causes her audience of hopeful and creative workers to take her words to heart if they want to be
With this concept, we can assess and place value on the stories presented in The Things They Carried. Yet, it is still not that simple. The reader is continually challenged to question what is real and what is imagined. The evaluation of each narrator is constant. While the protagonist continues to remind the ...
Skilled authors can write pieces without experience by using similar emotions and merging them to create what one would expect to feel. The more believable the world that is conjured is to the audience the more they will be impacted by tragedies and trials in a story. A true

The power of Imagination can give humans the will power to accomplish anything. In the book Life of Pi by Yann Martell Imagination helped Pi the main character get through his long journey aboard a lifeboat. Over the course of this story Pi encounters many different situations where he needs to use his imagination. Towards the end of the book you as the reader have the option to believe the story you just read or a second story, a more vulgar and less interesting story. As the reader you have to use your imagination just like how Pi needed to use his imagination. Imagination allowed Pi to survive by keeping him sane, protecting him and lastly to acquire the traits of telling a beautiful story.
In all of us there is a deep and intense need to spend a lot of time with stories --- telling them, listening to them, reading them and watching them. In fact, storytelling, which feeds and exercises our capacity to imagine, is one of the most important features of our existence.

A successful writer is he who is able to transmit ideas, emotions, and wisdom on to his readers. He is cable of stirring emotions and capturing the reader's attention with vivid descriptions and clever dialogues. The writer can even play with the meanings of words and fuse reality with fiction to achieve his goal of taking the reader on a wonderful journey. His tools are but words, yet the art of writing is found in the use of the language to create though-provoking pieces that defy the changing times. Between the lines, voices and images emerge. Not everyone can write effectively and invoke these voices. It is those few who can create certain psychological effects on the reader who can seize him (or her) with inspiring teachings, frightening thoughts, and playful games with the language. These people are true writers…
An average day as a production assistant might involve renting equipment and studios, booking hotels and making travel arrangements, dealing with accounts and expenses, tracking continuity between shots, distributing and researching
Nestled between the ribs of an individual, in the sweet spot between the heart and soul, lies a story that sculpts the contours of their identity. Be it a cultural folk tale, a classic novel, or a contemporary fantasy, there is a story out there for everyone that will hold substantial value in their lives. In a small excerpt called “Stories – Paris, January 1903” from Erin Morgenstern’s “The Night Circus”, Widget, a young boy who can see the past and turn it into a narrative, finds himself having a conversation about the intricacies of stories with an unnamed man in a grey suit. The man conveys the necessity of Widget’s skill and makes distinctive observations on stories; namely their ability to configure individuality. Subsequently, Widget
Literature is intriguing because of relatable or entertaining themes, questions, and conflicts. Without these concepts, writing has no overarching message and is uninteresting. Because these ideas draw in readers, they can be seen across many works of literature written years apart. Despite having different plots, many stories contain ideas that are akin. In novels, poetry, and theater pieces similar themes, questions, and conflicts are used.

Although I enjoyed the creating aspect of films and constructing them, I had very little knowledge in the film industry itself. Therefore, during my junior year I did some researching and found a summer program that was offered at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. I
