Respect is a quality that many people do not have towards others. Many people do not understand that respect that is a sort of behavior and attitude towards someone. People expect respect to just be given, but in order to gain respect you must give respect to someone else.
For example, this essay is ridiculous. If someone or some people act up and are disrespectful: punish them by making them right an essay on respect and teach them that it is not okay to be disrespectful towards others and those who are being respectful of them. But that does not mean you should take the punishment. That should only be given to them as they are the ones that have created a problem and it should not be forced onto the whole entire class. In you doing that to

You could be kind to them in that being you do things they would ask of you or ask that you not do. Also you could also be honest with as in you don't lie if that ask you about a serious matter you keep a secret or you tell them something that they should know or what you think is good or bad that they are doing. One of the most important ones is that you treat them the way you would like to be treated, The Golden Rule. So, that is a major key in to having someone respect you and not just you but your things as well. Way to many people forget that respect is not that hard to give n …show more content…
One way to gain respect back that would work is to just apologize that person that you disrespected.Yet, you do not want to just apologize and not mean it you have to be sincere because it shows you really mean it and you are truly sorry about what you have done which is something you should always do if you disrespect someone. You could also do something to gain their trust back like writing a essay as a way to do so. Also you could also listen to what they have to say and why they feel disrespected then make amends with that in the way that person feels necessary. It is easy to forget that even the small things can allow someone to forgive you and respect you again. The small things that you make think will not do anything to gain back someone's trust could actually be the only way to attain that respect
Respect is a such a simple concept and a virtue that should be simple to follow. It means treating other people and animals in a dignified manner. Respect doesn’t mean that people need to hug everyone they come across or hold their opinion higher than everyone elses. Respect means treating others as equals and acknowledging that as human
In turn, you demand a respect from the person, leading you to be
Proper respect for others begins by a person respecting their self. Respect is developed by expressing honor, leadership, value, and trust in a person. If everyone respects everyone someday, the world will become a seventh heaven. It is important to be respectful for safety, to abide by the law, because children are influenced by their elders’ actions, and because God says so. Motivation from peers can help a person realize there is always room to improve the level of respect a person exhibits. Respect was, is, and always will be a positive attribute for everyone to strive for in their lives.
Respect to me is admiring someone for their abilities, qualities, or achievements. I think respect is always earned an can never be given. As soldiers soldiers we should always respect our peers because they have made the same sacrifice as us. But as soldiers we should have a higher level of respect for our NCOs because they have done their time an have earned it. Being respectful is not hard it is simple, just treat others the way we would like to be treated ourselves.

In three seperate dictionaries, respect is defined as a regard for or appreciation of the worth or value of someone or something. In my opinion, respect goes far beyond this definition. Respect is the cornerstone of the society in which we live. Although many look at respect as simply treating another person or thing with kindness, this word has many different aspects. For instance, I would not give an elder the same type of respect that I would give my peers or myself. Respect is not considered a neccessity in this world but, I can’t imagine a person getting very far in life without this virtue.
Respect is something given without expecting anything in return. Growing up, I learned that even the little things can change someone's day. Offering your chair to an elderly person, a kind deed to someone in need, or a word of encouragement to someone having a bad day. My 90 year old great grandma has lived in my home for 11 years. Through the recent years, I call her every day on my way home asking if she is in need of anything. I have become one of her caregivers repaying her for all the years of encouragement and love.
Respect is a very powerful word, it can be given and also taken. So many people really don’t know the definition because they don’t have any for themselves. Maybe because they were never taught the word or the meaning. There are rules and meanings to the word Respect. Give it when it is due if someone you know worked hard and never gave up and was committed to their job.
Because being respectful is important to me, I attempt to demonstrate this in how I live my life and in the way I treat other people. I attempt to show my respectful nature in everything that I do. Whether its a simple gesture like opening the door for people behind me, I realize that this level of respect is appreciated and needed in this world. I demonstrate respect by staying courteous and by displaying kindness in all of my endeavors. Today we live in a world that lacks the respect of past generations and we are suffering because of it.
Respect is a behavior that shows another person moral and ethical acceptance. Showing respect for another, even when not deserved, is considered to be a good sign of breeding in times past, but now as where society has changed, dissing "show disrespect for" has become more accepted, this behavior suggests a cultural shift from rewarding kindness and self-restraint to applauding a more open expression of hospitality through rudeness. Perhapes there is a lessening of concern over being respectable, along with an increased vigilance oto make sure one is respected.Concludeing that Civility must beging with the individual person making small sacraficiesfor others.
Most people go through life and always hear about the word respect, but they don’t know what it means. Respect is the esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person. There are things in life you need to hold in respect. Respect for yourself, respect for others, and respect for property. Respect is taught to people everywhere and it is even taught to them in their religions. Respect is the very aspect that keeps everything in your life.
The Trusted Authority You only become the trusted authority….through hard tested trials and that the (T.A) comes through on each one of them. In the mentee mind and others through “word of mouth” he or she is perceived to be considered the trusted authority. By being consisted and continuously coming through as planned, they become reliable and trusted. You can count on them to be there to give you that three minutes burst of positive self regard, the Bundini moment. How does one distinguish the trusted authority over other “want to be’s”?
Respect is something you give to anyone until they have proven they are not worthy of it. Respect is
The second form of respect is the respect of property. This includes anything from writing on a desk at school to stealing from a department store. Property, whether it is the school's, a company's, a stranger's, or a friends, should always be respected. Respect means taking that extra few seconds to drive the speed limit so as not to hit anyone or anything. It means not smashing a pumpkin at Halloween just for fun. It means not throwing that piece of trash on the ground. That is respect.
Respect is showing love, when you love someone you protect them from hurt. It gives comfort to the heart to be with someone who respects you. I gained confidence through being faithful to my marriage and putting my focus on one family. A husband and wife should build each other up, not tear each other down. I have come to believe and stand by the word of God in my marriage and not a day goes by that I do not appreciate my children and especially my wife for treating me as a man I have grown to be.
