Problems faced by the Unorganized Sector:
The unorganized sector workers face many problems and challenges in their workplace and also in their personal life. They are working in very unsafe and insecure work conditions. They are not benefited with adequate wage and medical facilities. They are exploited in the work place by many ways. They are no proper laws for making their work conditions better. The following are the major problems faced by the workers in unorganized sector:
• Problems related to health conditions
• Problems related to substandard working life
• Harassment at workplace and lack of safety measures in workplace
• Lack of Skills and less exposure to Information & Technology

Vandana Dave in 2012 conducted among 350 respondents which focused on the socio-economic conditions of women workers, nature of the work, their working conditions, wage pattern, gender and wage discrimination and other difficulties faced by them at their work place revealed that women were exploited to a greater degree as they were paid less compared to men for similar nature of work and hours spent on work. Satisfied employees are productive employees in the organization. There are many variables contributing to the satisfaction of the employees such as wages and salaries, Job security, recognition, work schedule, benefits etc. The presence of quality of worklife factors in the organization leads to numerous outcomes. The main outcome is job satisfaction . It is referred to as positive aspect of employees towards their job.
Suggestions:
The following are the suggestions are based on the researcher’s opinion and perceptions on quality of work life of women in unorganized sectors:
• Providing the basic education to women so that they become aware about the schemes and facilities available for them.
• Adequate training should be provided for the workers which are required to perform their work.
• A trade Union should be formed among women workers.
• A supervisory body should be established to monitor the proper implemented of legislation and provision related to women workers in unorganized sectors.
• The Government should implement the legislation which focus on promoting gender equality and woman empowerment.
• The Government should notify minimum wages for workers and issues such as wage structure, working conditions, leave and absenteeism need to address through

Women are frequently malnourished since women are normally the last member of a household to eat and the last to receive medical attention. Women in India receive little schooling, and suffer from unfair and biased inheritance and divorce laws. These laws prevent women from having financial assets, making it difficult for women to establish themselves.
Although many women have achieved a college education, many will nit be able to share the same values as there male peers. Many women will have certain messages conveyed about them which will be used to profile them in their selective fields. These factors will contribute to the controversial issues facing women today in the workplace. The gender roles that have challenge women today will not allow the equal status of women who are trying to advance there job careers. Only with enough support from activist groups of women’s rights will break these stereotypes and, allow women to have a fair and equal role in society.
My research opened my eyes to the struggle of women in the job market. The differences range from how we speak, what we wear, to where our priorities exist in business. One of the first books I came across was Managing Like a Man by Judy Wajcman. The title alone highlights the severe psychological separation of men and women in the workplace. Everyone faces difficulty at some point or another in a working environment. Unfortunately for women, workplace issues can range from not getting along, not keeping the job, or simply not getting the job. ‘Bust through the glass ceiling’ is a term coined in regards to women and the seemingly impossible climb up the ladder of success. Multiple books and studies about women seeking leadership roles give the theory a legitimate hype. The female gender has to fight for their role in the workplace, even when they have more education, more experience, and a newly found focus on equality for women. Extended research is still being done because the issue has not been completely eradicated; even now in the 2000’s.
Analysis on gender discrimination reveals that gender plays a discouraging factor in the employment of women. Throughout history men and women have been segregated into two separate sectors of employment "male" and "female." Historically, humans have witnessed various acts of fallacious imperialism that is often imposed upon groups of people based on ethnicity, skin completion and, gender. One without any socially constructed knowledge of gender would pose the question can someone really be denied employment based on gender? The answer when taking in consideration the social and empirical notions that are prevalent in society the answer would unfortunately yes, they can and have been denied historically based on gender. Various acts and interventions in efforts of alleviating the dilemma concerning employment inequalities have included a better labor market and suggestions of educational opportunities were also believed to provide a remedy to the entire crisis.
It is primarily evident that a lot of amendments have been made in the field of employment to achieve a sense of work place equality for men and women. However, there is the understanding that the topic of inequality and inequity is still persistent in contemporary society. It is manifest that there are a numerous amount of barriers that females endure in the workplace environment, and this binary is occurring because of their gender roles. This paper’s intent is to recognize that the concept of gender stratification experienced in the occupational spectrum causes the downward social mobility for females. It can be concluded that women are treated in terms of stereotyped impressions of being the lowest class and greater evidence can be found that there are large disparities between the women and the men 's class. It can be seen that women are more likely to play casual roles as they are most likely to take seasonal and part time work so that they can work according to their needs. They are hampered from progressing upward into the organizations as they face problems like lack of health insurance, sexual harassments, lower wage rates, gender biases and attitudes of negative behavior. However, this wouldn’t have hampered the participation of the women in the work force and they continue to increase their efforts which is highly evident in the occupational and job ratios of females in the industry.
