Once upon a time in the Kingdom of Dweven there was a princess, her name was Amelia. Amelia had just turned 21 and it was time for her to wed. Amelia was not your run-of-the-mill princess; she was sly, clever and cunning. Instead of just hosting a ball to find a proper suitor she decided to put eligible princes through an evaluation. She gathered ten princes from different kingdoms and invited to stay at her castle to compete for her hand in marriage. The ten princes were, Alexander, Baudouin, Casmir, James, Magnus, Philip, Leopold, Marius, Peter and Samuel. Some of the princes had good intentions while some didn’t.
The first test Amelia organized had to do with books. She placed each prince in an unadorned room with only an old thick leather bound book in it. She instructed the princes to read the book and when they were finished to come out to the courtyard; the last prince to finish the book would be removed. The one thing the princes didn’t know was that the book was filled with gibberish. This test would help Amelia determine which princes were honest and which princes weren’t.
All of the princes arrived at the courtyard at the same time, so Amelia decided to ask the princes questions about the book. She asked the princes what they thought about the main character, Baudouin immediately spoke and said that he thought the main character was honest. Leopold told Amelia that he thought the main character made bad decisions. Marius told Amelia that the main character was cunning. The rest of the princes remained quite, Amelia asked them why they were so quite and Magnus spoke up and told the Amelia that the book was filled with gibberish. All the other princes muttered agreement. Amelia smiled and told Baudouin, Lepold and Mar...

Amelia was awestruck that the princes were able to accomplish such a feat. She congratulated Peter, Samuel and Alexander but then she saw James and Magnus covered in blood holding a cold dragon heart she was horrified and dismissed them immediately.
The next and final challenge is the hardest of them all, Amelia informed the princes. Amelia called upon the blue fairy. The fairy arrived in a glass bubble. Amelia gave each prince one wish that the fairy would grant; this test would help Amelia determine the princes true character. Samuel asked for power, Peter asked for money and Alexander asked for happiness. As soon as Alexander spoke his wish Amelia knew he was the one she would marry.

***This paragraph is a little bit hard to follow. I think the problem is with the “if” statements. It would help to reword them as definite statements, because in the novel they already happened. Also, the last sentence doesn’t seem to fit into the flow of the paragraph.
No coward could have walked there as Beowulf did. The Geats imagined the feeling and sight of the heat of the dragon’s breath flooding down through the hidden entrance. As they lost some hope, they roared out a battle cry, which hung in the dragon’s ear. The dragon rose, angrily, knowing a man had come near his tower. The dragon then blew his fire, causing the Earth to shake. Beowulf was prepared, as he held his shield in front of him while facing the entrance. The flames had beaten him, Beowulf fell. Beowulf was once a king, but now a defeated warrior. The Geats ran for their lives, except for Wiglaf. Wiglaf watched his king, Beowulf, lay suffering and burning, remembering all his lord had done for him. Wiglaf is determined to go help Beowulf kill the dragon with any consequences that may come. Wiglaf and Beowulf kill the dragon, and Beowulf asks Wiglaf to bring the dragon’s treasures to him. Wiglaf brings Beowulf the treasure, finding him gasping for breath, near to death. Very faintly, Beowulf is able to speak the words and tell Wiglaf to lead his people and take the treasures Beowulf leaves
In order to get the gold he had seen at the bottom of the lake, he must surpass the dragon. Beowulf gathered the best men to assist him in defeating the monster and claiming the treasures. Beowulf met the dragon at the entrance of the tower. The dragon blew fire out and Beowulf let out a battle cry. As Beowulf felt the engulfed flames, the sword breaks as he struck the angry dragon. Soon after, ten of the eleven men flee in fright from the dragon. Beowulf nor Wiglaf flees, but stays to fight, following the scampering of the men. Beowulf struck the dragon, but his tusk slices Beowulf’s neck. With a sliced neck, Beowulf managed to pull out a dagger and slay the dragon in two. The dragon is defeated, but Beowulf lays dying. Beowulf had proved himself to be an epic hero through this part of the story because he put up one more fight after conquering Grendel and his mother. The motivation and courage he possessed allowed him to fight his last battle before the final hours of his life. He had won the fame and honor he once hoped
“The Wife of Bath’s Tale” is written in an entertaining and adventurous spirit, but serves a higher purpose by illustrating the century’s view of courtly love. Hundreds, if not thousands, of other pieces of literature written in the same century prevail to commemorate the coupling of breathtaking princesses with lionhearted knights after going through unimaginable adventures, but only a slight few examine the viability of such courtly love and the related dilemmas that always succeed. “The Wife of Bath’s Tale” shows that women desire most their husband’s love, Overall, “The Wife of Bath’s Tale” shows that the meaning of true love does not stay consistent, whether between singular or separate communities and remains timeless as the depictions of love from this 14th century tale still hold true today.
hours to marry the prince, and if he marries anyone else she will die and transform into sea foam.
...g, as it brings her good fortune. She pulled out the mirror and faced it at the dragon, again, his fiery breath was coming at the princess. Instead of hitting her, it bounced off her mirror and hit the dragon’s tail. It did not just disappear in his scales, it began spreading up his body. Soon, the whole dragon was in flames. He turned into ashes and fell at the base of the tree. As Gwen carefully climbed down the tree and in the ashes, she saw something move. A prince appeared in the dust. She quickly ran over to see if he was all right.
The knight comes across a beautiful lady one day and rapes her. The court is disgusted by this and says he should get the death penalty. Judgment day has come, and he tells the queen that most women desire to be in charge of their husbands and lovers. The women in the court agree, and the queen spares

In the novel, “The Heir,” there were many situations that caught my attention. A problem from the story was that, Baden, a member of the Selection, had a fight with Eadlyn, a princess. So, how the problem started was that, Baden basically asked Eadlyn out. Eadlyn was friendly to Baden for about an hour and then, she walked away, as if nothing happened. The next day, Baden showed up at Eadlyn’s front door, explaining to her how he wanted to leave the palace and how he felt when Eadlyn “shot him down” the night before. To elaborate, that was when they got into a fight. Eadlyn tried to explain herself to Baden, about how she was extremely busy and she never really said “no” when Baden asked her out. After a while later, Eadlyn decided to give

Muslims were cast as the scapegoats to why we needed to go to war and who to blame as a result of all the people who lost their lives. When in reality a group of people were the cause for this event, not the entire muslim culture. Again this culture of fear is created that rallies groups of people into this idea of a mob mentality. This mistrust and fear is also seen with Amelia’s identity, after she strangely welcomes Cousin Lymon into her life with open arms. The transformation of her personality concerns the people of the town: “Only a few times in her life had Miss Amelia invited anyone to eat with her, unless she were planning to trick them in some way, or make money out of them. So the men on the porch felt there was something wrong” (McCullers 5). This change of character made them question if she had killed the hunchback,
Odette awoke to the sound of knocking at her door. "Princess?" A soft voice called from the other side of the door. Odette kept silent, closing her eyes. Perhaps if she pretended to be asleep she could get out of going. Last year had been her first year to visit the prince and she wished it would be the last. Neither Odette nor Derek took a liking to each other, but it wasn't up to them. Their wedding had been promised before she was even born.
...martyrdom and so the story ends, leaving the reader in anger about the carelessly spoken words of Lancelot.
Later that night he went to visit her. This time the prince told Amber his name, with was Brad. They talked all night and Amber learned that Brad was a total jokester. From that day on, the prince would visit her every night when everyone was asleep and every night he left Amber with a kiss on the cheek. Over several months, Amber realized she was falling in love with Brad. Some of the things they talked about at night were how Brad didn’t like being a prince and his day to day schedule. Finally, Amber devised a plan to end her life in being in a cell. She would convince Brad to set her free and they would both run away together to a far, far, far away kingdom. Amber was going to tell Brad when he came that night. But she knew that he wouldn’t agree, so she asked her friend, Mae, to concoct her a potion by that evening so that the prince would do whatever she said. Mae delivered the potion that evening. When Brad came down that night, she proposed her plan. Surprisingly, he agreed with her plan. Amber would have to save the potion for someone else, maybe the three guards. By the end of the month, Amber and Brad had worked out all of the details. First, like their usual routine, the prince would come down and tell the three guards that he was just checking up on their prisoner. Then, Brad would take Amber up to the main floors of the castle and use the potion on Brad’s parents so they wouldn’t know
